I like to stay home and watch the neighborhood fireworks
For me and my husband it is a special time. He is a 30 year retired and disabled vet from the US Army, so it’s a time for celebrating his service and what he has given for our country. Not only that it’s a time of remembering for me because my father who passed away in 1997 was also a retired US Air Force Veteran. Needless to say, we love our country and we love all those who have given their lives and all those families who have stayed behind and dealt daily with problems without their spouses. I love America.

normally for the 4th, we go to the beach and spend the day on our boat and spend the night watching fireworks and cooking out but this year it poured rain all day and night so we didn’t do anything 🙁
