My family and I have not had a decent vacuum ever. Our vacuums always have problems and they tend to break on us quickly. When we have a vacuum, it usually lasts a couple of years and then we are looking for a new one. I’ve been searching for a new vacuum that would be able to last me years and work well on my carpets.
I was thrilled to be able to have the opportunity to review the Shark rotator powered lift-away vacuum. I have two cats and two daughters, so the place can get very messy. I was very excited to try out my new Shark. I’ve never had a nice vacuum like this before, so this was all new to me.
The Shark vacuum came with a lot of pieces. Assembling it was very simple. I don’t even think it took over a minute to get all the pieces together. I like that you can take all the pieces apart. It makes it easier to clean the vacuum as well.
It also came with a lot of different accessories. The dusting genie is actually two cleaning twos in one. The crevice tool gives you extended cleaning reach for small spaces, while the dusting brush cleans a multitude of surfaces. The True pet mini motorized brush picks up pet hair, loose debris and powerfully deep cleans surfaces. The dusting brush dusts and cleans a multitude of surfaces. The upholstery brush is perfect for grabbing pet hair and lint from furniture and other upholstered surfaces. The hard floor genie vacuums large debris and wipes away dust in one easy step.
With the motorized floor nozzle you’ll be able to pick up everything. This cleans a variety of surfaces. It worked out great on my carpet. I love how easily it can clean everything up. There is not a lot of work involved since the Shark can pick it all up for you.
This vacuum even has LED lights. This makes it a lot easier to see where you’re vacuuming. I can tell if it picked up everything I wanted it to. If you really wanted you could vacuum with the lights off. I actually tried it, and the lights helped me clean up everything.
You’ll see that this has fingertip controls so that you can control which carpet or floor you want to use to vacuum. You can easily adjust the suction by using the black switch. You can use this for cleaning hard floors, high pile carpets and area rugs, or when using the accessory tools for cleaning delicate fabrics. It even lights up so you can tell which option you have it set on.
You’ll see a max fill line so you’ll know when to empty it. It does hold a lot of dirt. This bagless canister holds more dirt for less frequent emptying. It’s also transparent so you can see when it’s filled. Opens at the top and bottom for easy disposal of dirt and debris.
You can easily convert the upright to a convenient canister. For me it’s a lot easier to vacuum this way. The vacuum becomes less heavy while vacuuming with the canister. When you’re vacuuming it will pull behind you. It also holds some of the accessories that come with the vacuum. This makes for easy vacuuming.
One of my favorite things about this vacuum is that it can reach under the couch. Now I won’t have to worry about moving my couch just to vacuum under it. I have never had a vacuum that could do this, so I’m amazed at what it can do.
Another great thing about this vacuum, is that it has advanced swivel steering. You’ll be able to go in between, around, and under furniture. The advanced swivel steering and low nozzle allow for a deeper clean by reaching those hard to reach places.
I’ve been using the Shark vacuum for over a week now and I love it. I’m happy with the way it performs and how many uses there are for it. I can clean all of my floors with the Shark rotator powered lift-away vacuum. I would highly recommend this vacuum to anyone, especially if you have pets.

It’s light weight once you take off the canister. It can be a little heavy otherwise but nothing I can’t handle. I like taking the canister off and have it sit on the accessory holder so it can roll behind the vacuum. Much easier that way.
I think I’m in love and I’m sold! We always use ours till they die and with six kids, two dogs and a cat, um yeah…I feel ya on needing a good one. I love it has lights!
I thought the LED lights were awesome too. Sounds like you could really use this vacuum!
This looks like a great vacuum cleaner. We have two floors and I would love a 2nd vacuum so that no one would have to lug one up and down steps.

Oooh, this looks awesome! I have trouble getting into small spaces with my vacuum and it’s kind of a hassle to pull the hose out (I actually have to think, “How do I do it again?” haha) so I avoid it whenever possible.
I use to have this same problem. Now that I have the Shark I can get in those hard to reach places.

We have a shark and LOVE it!! It took me forever to make the decision to get it, and I debated between the Dyson and the shark. So happy I went with the shark. Reasonably priced and does an amazing job. I love to vacuum with my shark. Its lightweight and does great on hardwoods and carpets.

Pet hair can become horrible. This vacuum is perfect for cleaning up pet hair.

My housekeeper uses a Shark and she absolutely swears by them. It certainly seems to do a good job on my floors, and I have tile, hardwoods and carpet.

I love Shark products. I had the steam mop and I used that in my kitchen on the ceramic tiles and on the hard wood floors. It worked really well ..until it died. LOL I need to get another.
