Do your children have any fears? Everyone is afraid of something, right? I have two daughters and they definitely are afraid of some things. Neither of my daughters like spiders and my youngest doesn’t like the dark very much. It can be hard when your child is afraid of something. It can be difficult to calm them down from being afraid of something. I always have night lights in my daughter’s room because they don’t like it to dark. I know they would be very afraid if I took all the lights out.

Whatever their fears may be, Worry Eaters are here to help them out with all their fears. I know that there are not very many emotional toys out there, and I think there should be many more. I think kids learn a lot from toys with emotions. With the Worry Eaters you are able to have your child feed them their fears. They can write down what fears they have on a piece of paper and feed it in to the Worry Eaters zippered mouth. If they’re to young to write, they can draw a photo too. Worry Eaters will hold on to that fear for them, so they can get a good night’s sleep.

I was offered one of these Worry Eaters to review. I went with the one named Saggo in large. The size of this one is 14.6″. This guy has lots of orange stripes and is very soft. My youngest daughter was amazed at how soft he was. She was so excited about it too.

Once you unzip the mouth you’ll be able to have your child put their drawing or words inside the mouth. This had a decent opening to the mouth, so they could put more than one piece of paper in their if they’d like. I would have your child write down all their fears on a piece of paper and put them all in the mouth. This way every single fear is being taken care of by the Worry Eaters.

My youngest daughter drew a picture of a spider as well as the dark. The blue area above the spider is supposed to be the darkness. Those are her two biggest fears right now. If she sees a spider she always comes to tell me so that I can take care of it. She doesn’t want to even be near them at all. She definitely doesn’t like being out in the dark either. Sometimes when we get home when it’s dark out she’ll want my husband or I to hold her hand and walk her inside. I think she’s more scared that there might be something out in the dark since it’s harder to see when it’s dark out.

If your kids have any fears, which I’m sure they do, than I would highly recommend getting one of these Worry Eaters. They’re great for kids who are afraid of anything. They’ll love being able to write/draw their own fears and put them inside the mouths of the Worry Eaters.

I absolutely love this idea. I think that the Worry Eaters would be an equally as important tool for adults. Sure we would interact with it differently but to write your fears down and lock them away so that they don’t get the better of you and you can succeed would be just what some people need in their lives right now.
