I was able to attend the grand opening of Fresh Thyme Farmers Market in Bloomington, MN on September 30th. I’ve never been to a Fresh Thyme store before, so this was my first time even being in one of their markets. My family and I were very excited to be able to have the chance to check out the market. They even had samples out for everyone to try. We tried a few of them and loved them all.
Once we got there we couldn’t believe how many wonderful products they had. All of their fruit and vegetables looked amazing. I honestly don’t think I’ve seen such fresh fruit and vegetables in a long time. It’s nice to be able to walk in a store and see the products looking fresh. I know you don’t always get to see that, so that was extremely nice. They even had an aisle that had a lot of candy on one side of the aisle. That was also really neat to see.
My family and I had never seen an escalator that was made for carts. They had an escalator for people to go up and down, and in the middle you could put your carts in and they’d also go up and down. That way you can still go down the escalator and have your cart go along beside you.
It’s nice to have a market around that has so many great options. They have a lot of organic products too, so if you love to eat organic foods, than this is a great place for you to check out. I even some a lot of gluten-free products and even dairy-free products. I love that they have such a wide variety of products for everyone. With so many allergies out there, this is a great place to find something for everyone.
They even had this nice area where you could sit down and eat at. I thought that was a really nice touch. It’s not often that you have an eating area inside a market. It’s great for those that want to grab something to eat and sit down and eat it right in the store.
Overall this was a great experience. My husband and I thought the workers were very helpful and extremely nice. It was a pleasant experience. It’s definitely nice to go to a store and have a great shopping experience.

Our target has one of those escalators for the shopping carts and my boys think it’s the coolest thing ever. That sounds like a really great place to shop.

This store look similar to one we have locally. They make the best sandwiches in their deli section and you can sit down right there and eat them! So tasty!
