Disney on Ice Let’s Celebrate!

29 February, 2016 by KatBp 54 Comments

letscelebrate

My oldest daughter, Mercades, is six and she’s going to be seven in March. Over the fall she joined Girl Scouts. She’s a very shy girl, so I wanted her to be able to participate in something that may help her get to know other girls her age. She has been enjoying being in Girl Scouts and she’s made some new friends along the way too. I think Girl Scouts is a great way for girls to get together and make new friends. They can learn so much along the way as well. They get patches for various activities that they do.

Just recently they all had the chance to go to Disney on Ice Let’s Celebrate! My husband and I were able to go along with both of our daughters. It was great that they were able to allow all of us to attend with them. This was the first time my daughters were able to see them on Ice. We saw a Disney Live show once, but never on ice. My girls were so thrilled to be able to go.

Disney

We were able to see so many Disney characters. My daughters were having so much fun. Some of these characters included: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald and Goofy as they celebrate a Very Merry Unbirthday Party with Alice and the Mad Hatter; a Royal Valentine’s Day Ball with your favorite Disney Princesses, including Cinderella, Ariel, Belle and Tiana; a Hawaiian luau with Lilo & Stitch; a whole new world with Jasmine and Aladdin; a winter wonderland with Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear; a Halloween haunt with the Disney villains and more in a magical medley of holidays, celebrations and festivities from around the globe.

Disney1

I would have to say that my youngest daughter was the most excited. She got so excited every time a new character entered. I knew she was going to love it because she loved it the last time we went to Disney Live. It’s so great when you can go somewhere and see how much your kids get so excited over something. Just seeing all the excitement makes it worth it.

Disney2

They even added a Christmas theme with Mickey Mouse and the gang. Goofy was dressed as Santa and he was stuck in the chimney. They had to all help to get him out of the chimney. This was a very entertaining part when he was stuck. I think the kids really enjoyed seeing that.

Disney3

I can still remember when I first went to Disney on Ice when I was little. I had a wonderful time as well. I loved that I was able to share this great experience with my daughters. I could tell they were having a great time.

Disney4

Once it was near the end they turned out the lights and everyone came out and waved to the audience. The whole Girl Scout troop along with families had a wonderful time. I thought it was a great experience for my children. I know they certainly loved going. I would definitely go again just so my daughters could see them on ice again and watch all their excitement all over again. It’s all the excitement from my children that makes experiences like these worth it.

Mercades was even able to get a Girl Scouts Disney on Ice patch for her vest just for going to the show.

I would highly recommend Disney on Ice if you’re in the area where they have a show going on. I’m sure your kids will have a blast if they love Disney and all the characters! My family and I certainly did. Maybe you’ve already been to Disney on Ice. If so, what did you think of it? Did your kids enjoy the show?

We love Disney on Ice. Even though my kids are getting a little older, it’s still one “kid” thing to do that the love.

So much fun! We went to a Disney Live! show a few days ago and had a lot of fun. Disney on Ice is bringing their Frozen show here in a couple of weeks and I think I might take my kids to that, too.

I’m sure she will too! What grade is your daughter in? My daughter that’s in Girl Scouts is a 1st grader. She’s a Daisy, but will soon become a Brownie!

I grew up going to every Disney On Ice show that came to town and passed that tradition along to my own children. I like that this performance featured so many different characters.

Disney on Ice is better than Icecapades! We visited a Disney on Ice Toy Story show a few years ago and it was so much fun. I think it’s entertaining for all ages!
