Strawberry Salsa

4 May, 2016 by KatBp 70 Comments

I’m so glad that Spring is finally here. With Spring here and Summer just around the corner, you may be looking for some delicious new spring/summer recipes to try out. With fruits being in more now, I wanted to share with you my Strawberry Salsa recipe.
salsa1

This is such a simple recipe, and won’t take up to much time. It’s got some diced up strawberries, red onions, avocados and more! I love to use this salsa for some chip dip with the Food Should Taste Good chips because they’re a healthier option for chips. It’s also great over shrimp, salmon or chicken.

salsa2

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Strawberries
  • 1 Avocado
  • 1/8 Cup Red Onions
  • 1 Lime
  • 1/2 tbsp. Cilantro
  • 1/2 Jalapeno
  • 2 tsp. Honey

Directions: Chop up the strawberries, avocado, red onion and Jalapeno and put them in a dish. Next you’re going to want to squeeze the juice from the lime over the chopped ingredients. You can also pour the honey over it and mix it all up. Then you sprinkle the cilantro on top. That’s as simple as it is!

Ingredients
  • 1 Cup Strawberries
  • 1 Avocado
  • 1/8 Cup Red Onions
  • 1 Lime
  • 1/2 tbsp. Cilantro
  • 1/2 Jalapeno
  • 2 tsp. Honey
Instructions
  1. Chop up the strawberries, avocado, red onion and Jalapeno and put them in a dish. Next you are going to want to squeeze the juice from the lime over the chopped ingredients. You can also pour the honey over it and mix it all up. Then you sprinkle the cilantro on top.
