How many of you have children that are still in diapers? Choosing the right diaper can be a tough decision. Huggies Little Snugglers Diapers are a great choice for babies. They are designed to keep your baby’s skin clean and healthy, and offer outstanding skin care. How many of you are already currently using Huggies or have used them in the past? I’ve used them before when my girls were babies and they’ve always worked well.

Can you all believe that Mother’s Day is just a few days away?! Whether you’re already a mother or are currently expecting, this day should be very special for you. Huggies has this amazing video they put together for mothers. It’s called Letters to Baby. This is such a heartwarming and touching video. I encourage you all to write a letter to baby, or to your children if they’re no longer babies.

My daughters are not babies, but they’re still young. They’re 5 and 7. I’ve written a letter to my daughters that is below.

Letter to my daughters:

Dear Girls,

You both stole my heart from the moment I knew I was going to have you. Both of you have gone through some tough challenges in the beginning and I’m so proud of you to this day. I love both of you girls very much. You both have such amazing yet different personalities that make you both special.

Mercades:

Mercades

When you were born they had to take you to another room to keep a close eye on you. You were having some breathing problems, so they had some tubes and such hooked up to you. At only three days old you had to have surgery because of your intestines. Everything turned out great and the surgery went well. This was one of the hardest moments of my life seeing that you had to have surgery at only three days old. You were in the hands of some wonderful surgeons and they really took care of you. After surgery you were doing very well and you were able to start eating more on your own. After about ten or a few more days, you were able to finally come home. Being able to have you home was so wonderful. Things only began to get better from there on out.

DSC_1136.jpg12

You’re now seven years old and you’re such a beautiful girl. You are very shy around some people, but once you get to know them your personality really begins to shine. You love spending time playing with all kinds of dolls and animals. I can tell you’re going to make an amazing mother someday as well.

Tesla:

Tesla

When you were born you ended up with jaundice. That means that you would have to be woken up so that you could eat, otherwise you’d sleep too much and not get the food you need. About three months older we realized something wasn’t right. Your skin was red and patchy and you kept scratching at it. You’d even get your days and nights mixed up. We ended up going to see a dermatologist to see if they could figure out what it is. We had our ideas of eczema, and that’s what it turned out to be. You ended up having staff infection as well as eczema. Luckily they treated it and the infection went away. With all the medicines you were given, they helped so much. The dermatologist was amazing! He helped get you so much better.

DSC_1193.jpg12

You’re now five years old and very outgoing. You have such a spunky attitude that I love. You’re extremely caring and always know how to take care of someone when something is going on. You’re not afraid to be who you are and speak up when someone isn’t being very nice. I can see you being very helpful to others and caring so much for them.

I love both of you girls so much and I hope that you continue to live life to the fullest. I encourage you to always do what you want to do and not let anything get in your way. You deserve so much happiness. You’re both growing up so quick and each day is a new one with you girls. I love spending time with you. I know that we’re going to make many more memories together. Please remember not to let anyone get in your way of achieving your own goals. I love you both so much.

Your mom.

Little Snugglers Newborn #1

I would love to encourage you all to write a letter to your baby (or child). I would love to read about them all, so if you get the chance to write a letter, please comment with your links and I’ll check them out.

Now if you could tell me, what is one thing you love about your kids? Also, will you be spending time with your children for Mother’s Day?

My oldest broke her femur just before we started potty training. The ONLY diaper that fit over her body cast without leaking was Huggies!

Those are such sweet letters to your children. It is important that we take time on Mother’s Day also to show our kids how much we appreciate them. If it wasn’t for them we wouldn’t even be mothers.

Your kids are adorable! This idea is good to adopt because you can keep the letter and someday, read it with them. Touching…
