How many of you have seen the show Wild Kratts? This show is on the channel PBS Kids. My daughters watch this channel often, but they’ve never seen this show before. I think PBS Kids is one of the best channels for my girls because they’re very educational shows.

I recently received the Wild Kratts-Wild Animal Babies DVD and a Wild Kratts Wild Animal Babies! book to review. This DVD comes with the following episodes:

“Elephant in the Room”

The brothers come across a lone baby elephant and bring him back to the Tortuga HQ for safety until they can find his mom. They quickly learn how mischievous baby elephants can be and get more than they bargained for when it almost destroys the Tortuga!

“Bad Hair Day”

Chris and Martin try to help a lion named “He Who Breathes Fire” get past obstacles and back to his pride, which is under siege from two intruder lions.

“Zig-Zagged”

Chris and Martin get caught in the middle of a zebra stampede, and when the dust clears, a lone baby zebra is left behind. The Wild Kratts must find the young zebra’s herd and return him to his mom.

“Let the Rhinos Roll!”

The Wild Kratts team is on an important mission to unearth why rhinos are mysteriously disappearing from the African savanna. They soon discover that Zach Varmitech has been kidnapping them to create new super Rhino Dozers so the creature adventurers devise a plan to rescue them – and it just might work!

My girls love animals, especially baby animals. This was a perfect DVD and book for them since they have such a love for animals like I do. Being able to learn more about them is great as well. The book even had these cards that came with it. The cards all have different animals on them and on the back of them they have some facts too. Lets take the zebra one for an example. That one says on the back that zebras stand just a few minutes after they are born.

This DVD is already out, so make sure to pick up your very own copy now. If you have kids that have already seen the show and love it, then I’m sure they’d love to have this one. Even if your kids haven’t seen the show yet, I think it’s a great one for kids to watch.

My children were always fascinated with animals when they were younger. We used to be zoo members and go there a several times throughout the year. The DVD & book sounds very enjoyable. I like when they share fun facts! 🙂
