I’m so excited that summer is finally here. I love to be outdoors when the weather is nice out. I have two daughters who also enjoy being outdoors. We find many things to do outside during the summer. It’s great to finally have this beautiful weather to be able to enjoy it together. One of my favorite things about summer, is all the scents outside. Being able to smell the fresh grass, flowers and all the other summer scents is wonderful.

Once I head back in the house I don’t get those same great scents. I would love to be able to bring all those scents inside my home as well. With the Nature’s Bounty® Earthly Elements™ I can get those same great smelling scents inside my home. They have a wide variety of essential oils that I love using.

DSC_0036

I love being able to use the essential oils around my home. One of the reasons I love them, is because they have so many different scents that can make a room smell amazing. If you have guests coming over, you probably want your house to smell great. The essential oils are great at doing just that. Each of these scents are usually good for different things too. If you want something more relaxing, you’d want to go with something like lavender. Maybe you want something that’s more uplifting. Then you would want to go with something like grapefruit.

You can use essential oils for many other things around the house as well. Since I do a lot of cleaning, I can use these essential oils for different cleaning methods. I do a lot of laundry and dishes, so this is a great way to add in those essential oils for cleaning. You could use the lemon grass oil to add to your dishwasher to help get them sparkling clean. You can also use some of your favorite scents of essential oils for your laundry. You can put 10-20 drops of your favorite right with your clothes in the washer to help them smell good.

Since the bathroom can be one of the smelliest rooms in your house, I use the essential oils in there to keep the smells out. There are four people who use our bathroom, so we could use all the help we can get with getting those stinky smells out. A great way that I recently learned, was to put a few drops of some essential oil of your choice inside the toilet paper roll. Then it will be like an instant air freshener every time you roll out the toilet paper. It’s great because it’s right next to the toilet too! You can even make your own toilet bowl cleaner to help keep the smells out of the toilet! There are so many wonderful ways to use these essential oils around your home.DSC_0047

Since lavender is a very soothing scent, I use this for relaxation around the home all the time. I’m sure many of you have heard about adding a few drops to a bath when you’re taking a bath. That’s a wonderful way to get relaxed while taking a bath. One of the ways I love to use lavender essential oils, is to use it before I go to bed. What I do is take some and put a few drops on my pillow as my as my kids pillows. This will help them breathe in the scent and help keep them calm and relaxed while trying to sleep. Sometimes my girls take a while to sleep and sometimes it’s like they instantly fall asleep quick. Using the lavender essential oils is a great way to get them the relaxation they need during bed time.

DSC_0054

When you have a lot of people living in your home, you know that it’s going to get smelly a lot. I have two daughters, which means a lot of dirty items and garbage. We all know how much the garbage can smell. I don’t have any kids in diapers, but when I did, the garbage smelled really bad. I do watch kids sometimes that are in diapers, so I need to find a way to keep all those nasty smells out of the garbage. Since I love cotton balls because they can absorb well, I usually take some of my favorite scented essential oils and put some drops on the cotton ball. My favorite scent so far from this line, is the lemongrass one. After I put those drops on the cotton ball, I throw one in the garbage. I normally do this before changing the garbage so that it’s at the bottom of the garbage. That way it keeps all those nasty smells away.

As you can see, there are so many wonderful ways to use Nature’s Bounty® Earthly Elements™ around your home. I’m excited to continue to use these around my home. It makes me feel happy that these products can really help around the home. It’s amazing to see all the uses you can do with them too. You can think of just about anything to use them for.

The full Nature’s Bounty® Earthly Elements™ line can be found in the Vitamin Aisle at Walmart. How many of you have tried these products before? What are some of your favorite ways to use them around the house?
