#SeeTheLite Litehouse Foods Homestyle Ranch Dressing

2 July, 2016 by KatBp 164 Comments

This review and giveaway was made possible by iConnect Influencer Management and Litehouse Foods. I was compensated for my participation in this campaign, but all opinions are 100% mine.

It’s crazy to know that 4th of July is almost here. My daughters just finished with summer school, so now they’re off for a couple of months til school starts again. 4th of July has always been one of my favorite holidays. With all the amazing foods and fireworks, this day is always one to remember. I love spending time with my family on this day.

There are usually a lot of get togethers we have during this time of year. Grilling out is always one of our favorites as well as watching the fireworks. I always love to make something for the 4th of July. Burgers and sandwiches are some of my favorites to make.

PicMonkey Collage

This year I decided to make a pulled chicken ranch sandwich. I thought this would be a great choice for some of the 4th of July parties that we have. It’s a bit different then all the grilled foods that I know a lot of us love to have during our parties, but sometimes you have to put together something different.

This recipe was inspired by using some of the Lighthouse Foods Homestyle Ranch. Their Ranch dressing is very delicious, so I wanted to make some kind of sandwich with it. This is where my pulled chicken ranch sandwich came in!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Pulled Chicken Breast
  • 1-2 Pieces of Bacon
  • 1/4 Cup Lighthouse Foods Homestyle Ranch Dressing
  • 1 tsp. Buffalo style hot sauce
  • 1/8 Cup Lettuce
  • A Bun ( I used gourmet buns)
  • 1/8 Cup Ranch to top it off

Instructions:

DSC_0060

The first thing I did was get out the chicken. I use the Tyson grilled and ready pulled chicken breasts because it’s simple to do and it takes only minutes to get heated up. After heating up the chicken you want to set it a side.

DSC_0062

Now you’re going to want to take the buffalo sauce and the homestyle ranch dressing and mix them up together.

DSC_0063

Next you’re want to add in the chicken with the homestyle ranch dressing and buffalo sauce. Then you can mix that all together to coat the chicken.

DSC_0066

Now you can start adding everything to the bun. You’ll want to take the button piece of the bun and put the chicken on first, then add some shredded lettuce, then the bacon.

DSC_0067

Then you can top it off by adding the Litehouse homestyle ranch dressing right on top and put the top bun on. I love to add the american flag to my sandwiches around the 4th of July to make them look very festive.

Now you have a great recipe that’s good for entertaining during the 4th of July! This is the perfect recipe for my family because we love having all kinds of burgers and sandwiches! Throw in the beans and chips on the side and you have a perfect main dish!

DSC_0074

I love to host parties, so this is a great dish that I can make for all my guests. If I’m not hosting a party, but I’m attending one instead, I can still make a lot of these sandwiches and bring them along. They’re a great addition to our 4th of July get togethers!

Whether you’re hosting or attending a party this year, make sure to make some of these pulled chicken ranch sandwiches. You can get inspired by the Litehouse Foods dressings as well! They’re great for all kinds of dishes.

Usually when you think of dressings, you want to make something like a salad. It doesn’t really make sense to get dressings from a warm isle, does it? This is why the Litehouse Foods put their products in the refrigerated isle. Make sure to look in the refrigerated section of your local supermarket for Litehouse Homestyle Ranch and Chunky Bleu Cheese dressings. I was able to pick mine up at Walmart. Litehouse Inc. is a leader in refrigerated salad dressings, veggie dips,

DSC_0091

I want to help you all make your own great dish with these Litehouse dressings. That means I’m going to have a giveaway for two free product coupons. That way you can all try out these dressings too! One winner will receive these two free product coupons for either Homestyle Ranch dressing or Chunky Bleu Cheese dressing.

You can enter below for your chance to win. This giveaway is open to the U.S. only. The giveaway will run from 7/2 til 7/16. Good luck to everyone!

If you’re near a Walmart you’ll find them there! A lot of other places have them too. Just check by the fruit/veggies! That’s where I found them.
