Cooking With the Copper Chef Pan

I enjoy cooking for my family. Ever since growing up I’ve always had a love for cooking. I always found it fun to be able to create your own dishes with the ingredients that you want to use. I never needed cooking classes because I was always ready to create something of my own.

Since I love to cook, I’m always on the lookout for new cooking dishes. There are so many appliances that I have been wanting to get, but I haven’t had the chance to buy any of them yet. Luckily I recently had the chance to try out the Copper Chef Cookware set.

DSC_0122

This Copper Chef Cookware set came with a few items. They sent me the 5 piece set. I was able to get the 9 1/2 in. square pan, tempered glass lid, steam & roast rack, fry basket and a recipe book.

DSC_0151

They even sent along a nice utensil set. You can get this set with the 12 piece set otherwise you can buy it separate as well. I thought it was nice of them to send this along as well.

features

I love being able to cook in this pan. You can even use it to cook food in the oven! This pan can stand heat up to 850 degrees! There are all kinds of ways you can use this to cook up something great. Since this pan has a cerami-tech non-stick technology, nothing will stick to the pan. You don’t even have to spray the pan! It even has the stainless steel induction plate which makes it great for cooking on any surface. This is why I mentioned cooking in the oven.

Since I was so excited about having this pan that I could cook in the oven with, I decided to make something that I could use to put in the oven. I had some rigatoni noodles, and I’ve been wanting to make pasta with pepperoni, so this is when I decided it would be the perfect time to combine the two.

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz. Box of Rigatoni Noodles
  • 6 Cups Original Prego Sauce
  • 5 Cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese  (1 Cup is for the Top)
  • 1 TBS. Parmesan Cheese
  • Pepperonis (to top)
  • 2 lbs. Hamburger
  • 2 Garlic Cloves

Instructions:

DSC_0125

The first thing I did was cook up the noodles. You don’t want to cook them all the way either. Make sure they’re a bit tender and not all the way soft. They’ll finish cooking in the oven.

DSC_0126

Then I rinsed off the noodles and put them in a bowl along with the cooked hamburger and the chopped up garlic cloves.

DSC_0128

After mixing that all up I added in the 4 cups of shredded cheese and the Prego sauce. Make sure that’s all mixed up well.

DSC_0129

Once it’s all mixed up you can put it in the Copper Chef pan. Make sure to spread that all around.

DSC_0132

I then added all the pepperonis on top. Just make sure to cover the top and if you want you can add more pepperonis. I just like to cover the top and that’s it.

DSC_0133

After the pepperonis are on I then topped it with the 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese and then Parmesan cheese.

DSC_0134

Once that’s all ready you can put in the oven at 350 degrees for about 20-30 minutes.

DSC_0138

It turned out great once it was finished! Even my girls enjoyed this dish. My oldest is a very picky eater, so when she said she liked this, I was shocked. That just means I’ll be able to make this more often.

The pan was amazing too! I was able to bake this dish without any worries of having things stick to the pan. It’s a very easy clean up after using it as well. All I mainly had to do was just rinse this pan with water and just about everything came right off. I couldn’t believe how simple a pan was to clean! Of course I still used soap and a wash cloth to get off some of it. Even that made all the extra food come off easily. I loved that! I would highly recommend this pan to anyone that cooks. It’s been a great pan to have for our recipes. The one thing I have loved about it is that you don’t have to spray it with any cooking oils. You can put your food in the pan right away and never have to worry about anything sticking. It’s amazing how well this pan works.

DSC_0148

If you need a new pan, I would go with the Copper Chef pan. It has been working well for me, and I’m very happy with the way everything turns out. It’s nice to be able to cook so many different ways with just this one pan too!

What would you love to cook with the Copper Chef pan?

I love pans that you can take from the stove to the oven. Whenever I make turkey meatballs I like to start on the stove and finish this off in the oven. This would be perfect for that task.

I ordered one of these on Sunday and got it in the mail today (Friday) Super fast!! It looks great, though I haven’t tried cooking with it yet. Just wanted to let you know if you call to order and want multiple pans, just order 1 to start….they will offer you a discount to buy more and you will save money. For everything they offer you on the call, say no to it, then they will end up discounting the price to get you to buy more. Just thought I would let you all know the secret to getting better prices on the pans. 🙂

I agree! It’s so much easier if you buy the more expensive things that are going to last so much longer then the cheap ones. This pan is amazing too! I love cooking with it.

I just got a copper chef pot but I haven’t had a chance to use it yet. Now I’m really excited to get cooking!

I LOVE this pan!! Do not hesitate to purchase. Kathy; do you have any other recipes that can be used in the Copper Chef? I don’t use my other pans at all now that I have this one.

I don’t have anymore recipes at the moment, but I’ll definitely have more in the future. I just have to get some ideas and start making them! I own many copper pots and pans. They’re the best!
