Have any of you been to Applebee’s? This is one of my favorite restaurants to go to. They always have great food at good prices too. I love being able to try out something new each time I go there. Did you know that they now have these wood fired grill salads?! They have a variety of them to choose from too.
Starting at $8.99 at participating restaurants, the new Wood Fired Grill Salad lineup includes:
- NEW Southwestern Steak Salad: Hand-Cut Wood Fired USDA Choice Top Sirloin Steak paired with chimichurri, pico de gallo, corn and black bean salsa, cheddar, crispy tortilla strips and a creamy house-made cilantro ranch dressing.
- NEW Grilled Watermelon and Spicy Shrimp Salad: Mixed greens, cucumbers, feta, almonds and house-made creamy mint-Greek yogurt dressing. Also available with Spicy Blackened Chicken.
- NEW Spicy Blackened Grilled Chicken, Avocado and Grapefruit Salad: Mixed greens, pickled in-house red onions, cilantro leaves and house-made champagne vinaigrette.
- NEW Crispy Chicken ‘N Spicy Cornbread Salad: Mixed greens, made-in-house jalapeno cornbread croutons, grape tomatoes, shredded cheddar, applewood-smoked bacon and buttermilk dressing.
I went to Applebee’s over the weekend and I chose to get the Crispy Chicken “N Spicy Cornbread Salad. I have to say that this salad was amazing! It was way bigger than I expected too. The chicken was so good and the cornbread was better than I imagined. I love that it was on the spicier side too. I love a bit of a spice with my foods. I ended up taking some of it home. When I got home, my husband ate the rest of the salad! We both really enjoyed it a lot.
Almost anytime I go to Applebee’s I end up getting an appetizer. The onion rings are my favorite, so I got those this time. That’s what I normally get as well. I love them with the bbq sauce they come with. These are seriously the best onion rings ever! They’re a big size too, which is great! I love how crispy these are as well. My favorite kind of onion rings are always crispy.
I hate taken my father out to eat at Applebee’s along with my children. My father ordered the ribs and one of my daughters got grilled chicken and the other got a cheeseburger. My father loved his ribs. I even tried a bite of them and they were amazing! I’ve always loved ribs, and these ones were so delicious!
My daughters enjoy going to Applebee’s. They love all the food as much as I do. My youngest daughter, Tesla, loves the grilled chicken. Every time we go to Applebee’s, that is exactly what she orders. I don’t think I’ll ever get her to try something different. She sure loves it!
I wish I could have tried out all the salads, but I know I’ll be trying some of the others out when I go to Applebee’s again. The one I had sure was delicious! I love grilled foods, so I know I’ll enjoy their other items on the grilled menu as well.

We have always loved Applebee’s. Those salads look absolutely amazing. My husband worked at Applebee’s for a long time and his brother and sister did too. It’s a family favorite but we haven’t been in forever….now I’ll be craving it!

I have never thought of grilled watermelon salad. That sounds so good. I want to go to Applebee’s now.

Applebees is one of our favorite places to go for a date night. Grilled watermelon…that’s new! I think of all the new salads you listed, I’d be most interested trying the Spicy Blackened Grilled Chicken with avocados and grapefruit. I love all the components, although I’ve never tried grapefruit with a salad before!
I’m so glad they came out with these salads. I can’t wait to try more of their salads!

It’s been a while since we last ate at Applebees. MY husband and kids love dining there but I don’t, the food is too salty for my taste.

This Woodfire Salad looks super delicious I cant get enough of it. Just looking ta it makes me hungry and I juts had dinner lol. I never ever thought to bbq Melon though. I must try it!

I love Applebee’s so much and I am crazy for anything that is grilled & my goodness these are some delicious grilled salads, I would love to take anytime. The Watermelon and Spicy Shrimp would be my favorite among these & I would love that combo of Avocado and Grapefruit as well!
