Have you ever felt sore after waking up in the morning? This happens to me often. We got a new bed not long ago, so I knew that wasn’t the problem. A lot of the times my neck or back with ache after I get up in the morning. I knew it could have been my pillow since it was getting old. I did get a new pillow for Christmas, so that was really nice. It didn’t really seem to help out too much though. Have you ever heard of the Polar Pillow? I was recently provided with one to review.
The Polar Pillow has 12 lbs of cooling gel inside. It’s a very heavy pillow. When I first received the pillow I couldn’t believe how heavy it was. The pillow stays cool while you rest your head on it. It also comes with a polarpack, which helps add more coolness to the pillow. The polarpack will last for about two hours. It helps with headaches, hot flashes, night sweats, fevers and skin irritations. Check out the before and after photos of using the pillow. The before picture shows you what your skin temperature is normally at. The after picture shows that the skin temperature can drop 10 degrees just by using the Pollar Pillow.
The inside of the pillow has these little bead looking things inside. When I first thought of a gel pillow I thought it was going to be more gel looking like an ice pack in a way. I really love how different this pillow is though. I never would have thought to put anything like that in to a pillow to make it cool you down at night. It’s a very amazing pillow and definitely unique.
This is the most comfortable pillow I have ever owned. As soon as I got it my husband laid down on the couch and was amazed at how cool it felt. Normally he won’t sleep with any pillow unless it’s a feathered pillow. He was laying down for a few hours and just loved the pillow. I was so surprised since he normally only likes the feathered pillows. I’m glad that he really loves this pillow as much as I do. He was so amazed at how cool it kept him. I had a hard time getting it away from him.
After finally getting my pillow back from my husband, it was time for me to go to bed and try out the pillow. I instantly felt the coolness from the pillow after laying down on it. It was a restful night and I felt very well the next morning. I also tend to get headaches often and I know this pillow is supposed to help with headaches as well, and it did just that. A lot of the times I’ll go to bed with really bad headaches. The only way to get rid of my headaches is to just sleep. Nothing else seems to work for me. Now that I have this pillow I’m able to lay down for a while, and after a few hours my headache goes away. I’m glad there is a product out there that can help with my headaches as well.
I also used the pillow on my leg. One night my leg was hurting really bad and I figured I’d try to lay my leg on the pillow. Once again I felt the instant cooling and it felt so amazing. My leg had never felt better. It felt so nice to just lay my leg on the pillow for the cooling affect.

Even my 2 and 3-year-old daughters were trying to take this pillow away from me. They really love the pillow as much as my husband and I do. I love this idea! This would stop me from partially waking up with the little sleep I get, just so I can flip my pillow over for the cooler side. It sounds like a fantastic pillow for when family members are sick, they can use it instead of a wet cold washcloth.
