Have your kids seen any of the shows on Nickelodeon? This is probably one of the channels we watch most on T.V. My daughters love to watch all kinds of shows that are on Nickelodeon. I think a lot of them can be very educational as well.

One of their favorites is Team Umizoomi. I love that they love this show because it teaches a lot about math. I have watched this show with them many times and it’s actually one of my favorites that they watch. I love to see them learn so much from this show. Some shows really can teach a lot to kids. We were given the Team Umizoomi Meet Shark Car on DVD to review.

This DVD comes with the following four episodes:

  • Shark Car
  • Umi Toy Store
  • Stompasaurus
  • Lost and Found Toys

In the Shark Car episode Jose has a favorite toy and it’s called Shark Car. He boards the ferry when it’s time for him to go home, but he realizes he is missing Shark Car. He has to let Team Umizoomi know so they can find Shark Car. Team Umizoomi are always helping others out. They will use their mighty math powers to help find Shark Car.

Since Team Umizoomi are always using their might math powers, they help teach kids about math. This is one thing I love about this show. My daughters have actually learned a lot from this show. There were some things they never knew til they were watching this show. That may have been years ago, but they still enjoy watching the show.

If you’re looking for a great show that can also help teach your kids about math, then I highly recommend checking out the Team Umizoomi Meet Shark Car DVD. This will come out on May 19th, so make sure to pick up your copy then.
