Have you ever watched Cinderella as a child? I use to watch the movie all the time and I loved it. My daughters are now able to enjoy it as well. They love the movie as much as I do. What I really love is that they came out with another Cinderella movie. The new one is of actual people unlike the older version made from cartoon type characters.
I was recently given the chance to review the Cinderella movie. I was extremely excited to see this movie. This movie is exactly like the older version of Cinderella, but to me it’s a lot more magical. It’s nice to see all the actors in this movie. Those cast members include: Cate Blanchett as Stepmother (“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring”), Lily James as Cinderella (TV’s“Downton Abbey”), Richard Madden (TV’s “Game of Thrones”) as Prince, Stellan Skarsgård (Marvel’s: “The Avengers,” “Thor”) as Grand Duke, Holliday Grainger (“Jane Eyre”) as Anastasia, Derek Jacobi (“The King’s Speech,” “Underworld: Evolution”) as King, and Helena Bonham Carter as Fairy Godmother (“Alice in Wonderland,” “The King’s Speech”),

In the beginning of the movie Ella’s (Cinderella) mother gets very ill and she passes away. Her father ends up going away for a while and leaves her with a stepmother and step sisters. Her father ends up passing away, so her stepmother takes over their place. Since Ella’s bedroom is bigger, her step sisters take over her room and she ends up getting the attic for a room. Of course you probably already know her stepmother and step sisters are very cruel to her and always make her do work around the house.
The prince and Ella end up meeting and he wants to see her again, so he holds a ball for all the ladies to attend. Ella has a fairy godmother that makes everything perfect for the night as well as making sure her stepmother and step sisters won’t know it’s her at the ball. At the stroke of midnight everything will wear off, so Ella must make it back home in time. She ends up leaving the ball and leaves one of her glass slippers behind.
The prince keeps the glass slipper and goes all over to try to find the girl that fits the slipper. It’s magical, because it won’t fit anyone else but Ella. I’m sure you know how it all ends too, but just in case I’m not going to ruin it. I hope that you all have the chance to watch this movie because it truly is magical. It’s already released, so make sure to pick up your own copy today.
