How many of you have heard about the mouthguard challenge? I’m guessing that a lot of you have heard about this already. I first heard about this when I saw videos all over Facebook. The videos showed everyone with these mouthguards in their mouths and they had to try to say something or even do something with these mouthguards in. Some of the videos I’ve seen, I see people trying to drink water or eat certain foods, as well as trying to figure out what others are saying.
They now have the Mouthguard Challenge game, and I was able to get one for review. After seeing all these videos, I knew I just had to have this game. I was very excited to be able to play this with my family. From all the laughs I’ve seen on all these videos, I knew it was going to be a fun game that we could all play.
The Mouthguard Challenge game comes with the following:
- Contains not only speak out phrases, but also more “extreme” challenges
- Features 51 challenges, revenge cards, 5 cheek retractors / mouthguards / mouthpiece
This game is meant for 2-5 players and the game is meant for those 16 and older. If you have seen all those videos around, then I think you know that this game is going to be a lot of fun. First you’re going to want to get a pen and paper, and write all the players names on the paper. You’re going to be using this to keep track of all the points, because the person with the most points is going to win the game. Make sure all the cards are shuffled as well. Each player gets a mouthguard and a revenge card. You also may want to keep a stopwatch or phone nearby to time some things. The youngest player is supposed to go first. There are many different types of cards, so the player has to do what’s on those cards. It is certainly a challenge to do many of these!
Each of these cards either has a yellow, blue, orange, white or green edge. Each of those colors means something different. Green is where you do a task on your own, red is a challenge, yellow is where you have to do a challenge yourself but the other players have to write down an answer, blue is a task you’ll have to do and the player to the left has one guess and then for orange it’s where all the players can call out once.
This game is not exactly easy, but it sure is hilarious! You can even check out one of the videos on YouTube below! I know you’ll have a lot of fun with this game. We sure did! It’s always funny seeing how everyone is with the mouthguard. Some seem to have it harder than others, so it makes it that much more fun to play. I hope that you’ll all enjoy this game as much as my family did!

It is great for adults. It’s meant for 16 and up, so I would definitely follow that.
