The holidays are quickly approaching. I still can’t believe it’s already fall. It’s hard to believe how quickly the year is going by already. This is my favorite time of year though. When fall starts, that means the holidays are upon us. The holidays are such a special time of year. I love being able to spend all the time with my family, especially around the holidays. There is something about it that makes everything so magical. Having kids of my own now makes it that much more special.
Do any of you have any holiday traditions? We just started a few traditions last year, and my daughters have been having so much fun with them. They are all those traditions that usually come with a stuffed toy and a book. We started two last year, and I’m introducing you to a new one we will be starting this year! This one is called Reindeer in Here. I’m so excited for the holidays to get closer so that my daughters can enjoy yet another tradition.
What Is It?
Reindeer In Here is a CHRISTMAS FRIEND, sent by Santa as the FIRST GIFT of the holiday season. Each reindeer has been sent for the month of December to get to know each individual child and celebrate that BEING DIFFERENT IS NORMAL. Each day the child and the reindeer go on adventures as the reindeer learns about each child’s likes, dislikes, friends, family, dreams, desires, and most importantly their TRUE CHRISTMAS WISHES.
At night when the children take the reindeer to bed with them, the reindeer ‘write notes’ back to Santa detailing their daily adventures. For the entire month, Santa learns more and more about each child from his reindeer and what their true Christmas wishes are. On Christmas Eve, each child puts their reindeer underneath the tree so it can join Santa on his trip back to the North Pole. Once Santa delivers each child’s true Christmas wishes, he gathers his reindeer and heads off to the North Pole…until early next December when the reindeer arrive once more and the Christmas tradition begins again!
I think this is going to be a wonderful tradition to start this year with my daughters. I know they’re going to love it. I love that it came in the mail all wrapped up in special paper. It came with the reindeer and a saying on the paper that was on the box. It makes it look so festive, and my kids love that.
The reindeer is so soft and adorable! I know kids are going to love him. It’s great that he’s so cute and soft. My daughters have always loved reindeer, so they’re going to adore him when he comes out for the holidays. I love the fact that they can take him wherever they go. I’m thinking of getting another so that both my daughters will have one of their own too. That way they don’t have to keep taking turns each day, although they’re very good about that too. I just think it may be more special if they had their own too.
The book is absolutely beautiful too. It’s got a great story and all the characters are a lot of fun. They did a great job with this story and the illustrations. I thought it all came together very nicely. I really loved reading through this story, and I know my daughters are going to love it too. There is a reason I haven’t brought this out yet for my daughters, and that’s because I’m waiting for the holidays to get closer. Once that happens, I’m going to set the box on the table and show them what we got in the mail. They’re going to love it! I want to make it special for them, and in the book, it says not to take the reindeer with you til the first of December, which is why I’m waiting or my kids will be impatient. They don’t exactly like waiting, and are already wishing it were the holidays!

This is going to be such a fun holiday tradition to share with the family. I hope that you all can check this out and maybe start your own family tradition with Reindeer in Here as well.
Do you think you’ll start this tradition of Reindeer in Here with your family this year?

This sounds like a really fun idea. I like that reindeer’s notes can play into Santa’s “Naughty or Nice” list. The story sounds so sweet.

It sure is! I can’t wait to take it out for my girls.
How adorable is this? My grandkids are going to love this.
Isn’t it!?
This is adorable! I have some friends with young kids who would love it! Really sweet!
It really is!
LOL!!! This is so funny, but cute looking. I know my kids would like it but then it would be another thing I would have to move all over the place.
If you read back again, you don’t have to move this one anywhere. The kids just take him with them wherever they go. Much simpler this way.
That’s so cute! I hadn’t heard of that before. My kids love Christmas and animals, and I’m sure it would be a big hit in our household.
I only recently heard about it myself. I thought it was adorable!
My son would go nuts for this, so cute and snuggly too!
It sure is!
I really wish my kids were little again. I have 2 teenagers. I would love to do Reindeer in Here. I want one for myself. The reindeer is so cute!
It is really cute! Even when my girls get older I’ll still have these around. 🙂
This is really cool! Such a great suprise for the kids!
Right. I love it!
This is making me so excited for Christmas. And that would be a fun tradition to add to our list of traditions.
Me too!
Oh my goodness, I LOVE him. I have never really cared about the elf on a shelf thing, but this one-this one I love. I think I’ll have to do this this year.
Isn’t he the cutest!?
This is such a great idea! My daughter loves to receive packages and this would be a great tradition to start to welcome the holidays! Love it!
Right! My girls love these kinds of traditions too.
