Recently my family and I have started to do a fun game called the ABC Date game, except we made it into a family date game. I don’t know if you have seen this around TikTok, but this is where I found the idea in the first place. I saw couples doing an ABC date night, but I wanted to do this with my family. You start off with the letter A and keep going down the alphabet. We are a family of four, so we started with four letters at a time and drew them so that each of us could pick something starting with our letter. The first one was my daughter Tesla, who got letter A. She chose to go to Action City.
We always want to make sure to get a photo together when we do our ABC family dates. Even if they turn out blurry or we all make a weird face, we still love it. That’s just us, and we wouldn’t want it any other way. This is one right in front of the trampoline area. They had a ton of trampolines and such you could do. They even had “ninja course” areas, which were a lot of fun to try to do. Some of these were actually very strengthening too. We loved it.
Action City had so many different activities to do. Mini golfing was one of them, and of course we played. Our family actually really loves to play mini golf. My youngest and husband are the two who love to play the most. They are the biggest fans of mini golf. We all played a round of mini golf though. It was nice out at first, but it got super hot out, but it was fun overall.
Go Karting is a favorite of my husband and youngest as well. Of course we all love it though, they just love it a bit more. I love that each of us is able to drive our own go karts too. This is a great way for us all to take it at the speed we want. Some like to go a bit faster than others, so this is great for everyone to have a bit of fun racing each other. Of course it wasn’t really a race, but that makes it fun too.
They had a big area with a lot of arcade games as well. We were in there a lot playing all kinds of games. One of everyone’s favorites, was Pac Man. It was fun being able to play on a bigger screen like this. There were a lot of great games to choose from though. This was just a favorite of ours. We played plenty of other fun games too.
Air hockey is another one of our favorites to play. Everyone wanted to play a round of this. We always have a blast whenever we see an air hockey machine, in fact, we have a couple at home, they’re just smaller ones. I also didn’t get much for any photos of the trampoline area, but you can see it in the background of the one photo above. That was an absolute blast as well. There was so much you could do here, it was amazing.
Action City was such a fun time. Everyone absolutely loved it. Our next letter will be B, I wonder what my husband will choose. He is the one who chooses from the letter B. We are all so excited to continue this. It’s great for fun family time and getting us all out and together.
