Watch A Week Away on Angel today, it will get you laughing, singing, dancing, and it just might inspire you to show love to someone in need. I started watching it, and I was already hooked from the beginning. The music and dancing is so infectious. It gets you motivated and wanting to sing and dance along with them. The music is actually from the writer and producer of Camp Rock and High School Musical songs.
In my opinion, I think this is such an inspiring show. All these teens and adults come together at camp for some fun, yet to learn as well. There are many struggles that teens and adults both may deal with, and this show sheds a lot of light on those. Maybe you have some questions about god, or purposes and reasons. Sometimes these questions feel like they can never be answered fully. Redemption is your own personal choice, but getting there is all up to you.
THIS MUSICAL SERIES follows a group of teens as they embark on a summer at Camp Aweegaway— a Christian camp filled with adventure, friendships, and unexpected self-discovery It’s an expressive and resonant story about identity, trust, and the courage to face what’s within. A Week Away: The Series offers a tender space for those burdened by doubt and pain to explore the possibility of hope and the power of a found family. The story follows a defiant foster teen who is dragged to church camp, determined to resist what he sees as the hollow promises of faith. But rejection gives way to introspection, and the walls he’s built begin to crack. As he discovers he’s not alone in the struggle against grief, anger, and the ache of belonging, he learns that healing can’t be forced— it must be chosen. A Week Away: The Series is fun and engaging, safe for family viewing, and honors faith-based principles without being a ‘lesson in Christianity.’ “Christian High School Musical” / “Camp Rock with faith message” / “Disney Channel meets Bible camp”
I am one who loves shows or movies that are musicals. Something about a musical is always uplifting for me. I always find myself moving along to these or singing if I know the songs. Both High School Musical and Camp Rock were some of my favorites growing up, so seeing a show like this has been fun for me. I love that it’s about faith and struggles. I can relate a bit with this, which is probably one of the reasons I love it so much. If you have ever been doubtful or in pain, this series can show some of those struggles and how the power of hope and love can truly help. This is a great series for the whole family to see. A Week Away is on Angel, so make sure to check it out. It’s an amazing series.

It really is. I’m enjoying it.
I went to a Baptist sleep-away camp when I was a young teen so this series reminds me of that. It’s interesting that it’s a musical, too.
I remember camps when I was younger too. They were the best!
The series looks fun for the kids. I am not a big fan of musicals, but I may sit with the kids for a bit and check it out.
