Air Fryer French Toast Sticks

21 June, 2017 by KatBp 54 Comments

Ever since I have seen air fryers being posted all over, I have always wanted one. I loved the idea of it being way less greasy. Normal fryers are filled with so much grease and fat, and I hated that. I’m so happy they came out with the air fryer. This has been one of the best appliances I have owned. It is probably my most used and favorite as well. I was thrilled when I was offered the Rosewill 5.8 Quart Air Fryer.

I’ve had some experience with air fryers, so this was a great time to really test this out. I love that this is a bigger air fryer. That means I can make bigger meals in this air fryer. Anything you would normally bake in an oven, you can use in the air fryer. It’s amazing!! I couldn’t believe how much time you save while using this product. It’s definitely a time saver when making meals for my family.

Specifications:

 Capacity: 5.8 Quarts (5.5 Liters)

 Easy Cooking with Adjustable Temperature and Timer: You have the option to set temperature control from 180°F to 400°F; and with the auto shut-off timer, you can adjust the cooking time for up to 30 minutes so that your food comes out just the way you like it.

 Rapid Hot Air Circulation System for Healthy Cooking: The air fryer’s hot air circulation system offers an oil-less alternative to cooking your favorite flavorful meals without the excess oil.

 All-in-One Multi-Cooker for Culinary Variety: Cook hearty, savory feasts filled with fried, grilled, baked and roasted dishes from this one smart appliance, saving you money and space on your countertop.

 Double Protection Circuits for Cooking Safe: With it’s overheat protection and automatic shut-off with timer feature, you can enjoy cooking with ease and peace of mind.

 Non-Slip Feet: The anti-slip feet keep the Air Fryer safely secured on your countertop for quick and easy access while cooking.

I wanted to make some french toast sticks in the air fryer. This was something different for me, so I was excited to try this out. I normally make french toast over the stove, but it’s easy to make french toast sticks too. I started with two pieces of bread. I sliced each piece of bread in four pieces.

Next I took 2 eggs, 1 tablespoon of cinnamon, 2 tablespoons milk and 1 tablespoon of vanilla and mixed this all up in a bowl together.

Then I dipped all the pieces of bread in the mixture. After that I laid them in the air fryer basket. I cooked these for about 10-15 minutes on 180 degrees in the air fryer. I turned them over a couple of times as well.

Once they were done, I took them out and laid them on a plate. Then I sprinkled them with some powdered sugar. You don’t have to use powdered sugar, but I think it gives it a little bit more of a good taste.

That’s all there is to this recipe. It’s a very simple one, and make sure to dip it in some syrup too!

There is so much you can do with the Rosewell air fryer! If you want a smaller size one, you can get a smaller one too. I personally love the bigger size air fryer because of  how much you can cook in it. You never know when you’re going to want to cook larger meals, especially when someone comes to visit. It’s the perfect appliance for just about all foods too.

What would you love to cook in the Rosewell air fryer?

If it would make getting dinner on the table faster, I’d cook anything in it. I never would have thought to make French toast in it though.
