Almondina Review/Giveaway

23 December, 2012 by KatBp 10 Comments

almond

I’ve been trying to eat healthier and I always have a hard time finding a healthy snack that actually tastes good. It’s hard when you’re tempted with sweets all the time. The only thing I have a hard time turning away from is cookies. Have you ever heard of Almondina biscuits?

Almondina are all natural, crispy, thin biscuits. There is no cholesterol, no added fat, salt or preservatives. They are only 30 calories per cookie, so that’s really great! They are wonderfully crunchy and delicious. They would be great dipped in some coffee, tea or even wine. The great thing about these biscuits is that they are non dairy. As you may know by now, my youngest daughter is allergic to dairy. That means she got to try these as well.

I was sent seven packs from Almondina to review. I received two packs of the original, cinnaroma, gingerspice, chocolate cherry, choconut, pumpkin spice and sesame. I couldn’t wait to share these with my daughters. I was excited to see if they would like them or not, especially my daughter with dairy allergies. It’s always tough to find her snacks that she can eat that actually taste good.

I have to say I’m very impressed with these biscuits. My daughters really loved them as well, so they were a big hit with everyone. When I think of chocolate cookies I always think of dipping them in milk. That is exactly what I did with the choconut and chocolate cherry biscuits. They definitely taste delicious with some milk. Of course they taste just fine without milk too, but the milk added to the great flavor.

All of the biscuits have almonds in them, which I love. My youngest daughter used to be allergic to all types of nuts but she outgrew them, so I’m glad that she is able to enjoy these. They are a great snack to have on hand for anyone. My daughters certainly love them as well as myself. The cinnaroma would have to be my favorite one of all. It smelled just like fresh ground cinnamon and tasted like it as well. So crunchy and delicious!

If you’re looking for a great healthier snack then you should check out the Almondina biscuits. They are so delicious and so much better for you then other snacks.
