Ingredients:

  • Bacon
  • Mozzarella Cheese
  • Pillsbury Grands Flaky Layers (you can use any brand)
  • Toothpicks or skewers
  • Vegetable Oil (any oil works..Canola works best)

Instructions First you’re going to want to get some of the oil in a pan and put it over the stove so it can start heating up. I usually use about two inches of oil.

Then you’re going to want to cut the dough pieces. For each circle of dough I cut out four pieces. Then you can cut the cheese in small squares and set them on top of the dough.

IMG_1971

Next you’ll want to wrap the cheese up with the dough. Make them in to ball shapes.

IMG_1973

Once that’s done you can take a piece of bacon and wrap it around the ball form. You’ll want to take the toothpick or skewer and stick it through the bacon, dough and cheese so that it all stays together. Once your oil is done heating up you can now put them in the oil to cook.

Then when they start oozing out with cheese they’re done! You can now enjoy!

**This recipe was inspired from someone online. I don’t remember where I found it, but I was inspired to try this one out.**

Bacon Cheese Balls
I was thinking about cheese and bacon and thought it would be a great combination. Of course I needed some kind of bread to have the cheese wrapped around. I really wanted to have bacon wrapped around the cheese but I had to have something to hold that together and that’s where the Pillsbury Grands came in. I usually use about two inches of oil. I always use a pan and put them in the oil. I’ve never deep fried but it’s worth a try someday.

These look really good, but for my taste buds I would use cheddar cheese.
