BenQ ScreenBar e-Reading Lamp

7 June, 2018 by KatBp 26 Comments

My job requires me to sit at my desk on my computer many hours a day. I know this can be very hard on your eyes and your body. I have a lot of screen time each day because of my job. I’m always getting up and away from the computer just to get away from the screen as well. I try to do this often so that I’m not always constantly staring at the screen all day. It’s nice to give your eyes a break once in a while. I’ve always been looking for products that may help out when I’m at the computer, so when I heard about the BenQ ScreenBar e-Reading Lamp, I was very interested in it.

This product is great for adding light to your computer. I often have to turn on my lights at night because I can’t see the screen well and I don’t want to make my eyes worse without lightening. It’s nice to have this product, especially during night. I love using it and it gives off some very good light.

It comes with just a few pieces, and they’re so simple to install. You have the lamp to use for the actual lighting and then the clip to make sure it stays on your computer. Of course it comes with a usb power cable as well. That way you can keep it charged at all times. It’s seriously so simple to put together. I didn’t even need the instructions, because I was able to figure it out on my own. I love when products are very simple to put together and use.

Check out the video above for instructions on how simple it is to put together.

You can see that there are a few options on the lamp. You’ll see the power on/off, auto dimmer, hue adjustment and manual dimmer. I love all of these great options, especially when I’m able to control the light myself. Sometimes I like it to be a bit dimmer than other days. I get migraines often, and light can be a huge trigger and affect my migraines, so being able to dim the light is great for me.

The light has been working very well for me. Since I’m a blogger, I work off the computer long hours each day. It really comes in handy for me, and I’ve been using it every day. I’m able to turn this light on and leave all the other lights off in the house. It brings in a lot of light, which is great for me to be able to see to work at the computer. I love that I don’t have to turn my house lights on anymore at night just to be able to see.

The light can shine nice and bright, which I really love. I love using this at night mainly. Below you can see some of the features of this product too.

KEY PRODUCT FEATURES:

 Auto Dimming: Optimal Brightness Instantly: Thanks to the built-in ambient light sensor,
ScreenBar adjusts the brightness level automatically and instantly. It can be manually
dimmable with the touch sensor control as well.

 Space Saving: No Lamp Base, More Desk Space: A specially designed clip makes the
attachment onto monitors easy and stable. No need for screws or tape that damage
monitors. The clip fits any monitor with thickness from 0.4” to 1.2” (1 to 3 cm).

 Glare Free: ScreenBar has an asymmetrical optical design that only illuminates the desk
and ensures zero reflective glare off the screen.

 USB Powered Lamp: Whether it is a computer, phone charger or power bank, any USB
outlet can power the ScreenBar e-Reading Lamp.

 Adjustable Color Temperature: The warm light lets you relax and replenishes your energy.
The cool light allows you to concentrate and boosts work efficiency.

If you work on the computer long hours a day like me, I would highly suggest checking out the BenQ ScreenBar e-Reading Lamp. It’s been so helpful for me while I’m working. I’m sure this could do wonders for you as well.

This could be extremely useful when my husband is sleeping and I would like to work in the same room without disturbing him. I especially love that you can dim the lights if need be.

Having the right light to read is super important. Reading in the wrong lighting could cause problems with your eyes. I already wear glasses and do everything that I can to protect my vision.
