Brown Toy Box STEM Kits

I’ve always loved that my daughters both love all kinds of arts and crafts as well as stem projects. My youngest daughter Tesla especially loves stem. She’s extremely great with it and also really loves to draw. As a parent, I highly encourage my kids to get creative and learn more about stem projects as well. I think it’s a great learning experience for them. STEM can teach kids so much. Brown Toy Box even has these amazing STEM kits that are great for kids.

About

Brown Toy Box Steam Kits, a Google for Start-ups Black Founder Fund recipient, empowers Black and Brown kids in science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) by inspiring equity in play. Mom of four and founder Terri-Nichelle Bradley pivoted her career to create engaging educational products for underserved communities. In 2017, she began curating fun and engaging, educationally focused STEAM boxes for kids in inner city Title 1 schools. Featuring black characters and inspiring careers in science, technology, engineering art and math, she received funding by corporate partners like Cox Media.

Specifically designed to empower young Black and Brown kids in science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM), Brown Toy Box STEAM Kits will be available at specialty and mass retailers nationwide in 2022. Featuring engaging characters and fun activities, six themed STEAM kits are available, from the logic of coding, exploring the periodic table, curating a museum exhibit, building a wooden robot recreation, to constructing a telescope to explore constellations.

Brown Toy Box Chemistry STEAM Kit:

It’s never too early to learn the periodic table and kids learn elements with a fun puzzle. Grow and monitor crystal formation, and the Amara two-sided cut out and three-wall science classroom lab comes with an activity book, fun facts, games and coloring pages.

Brown Toy Box Museum Arts STEAM Kit:

Curate your own museum exhibit with your own curator clipboard, checklist and dry erase marker. Assemble mini canvases, frames, and adhere art genre stickers for your dream exhibit, learning about pointillism, expressionism and more.

All of these kits sure are amazing. There are many to choose from too. I’m sure your kids are going to love any of them. I went with the ones I thought my daughters would love the most. I know they love doing Science type experiments as well as art. That’s why I went with these two kits. I knew it would be something they’d love and enjoy doing.

My daughters had so much fun with the museum arts STEM kit. This came with 6 canvases so that they could make their very own art exhibit. It also came with a checklist, clipboard with dry-erase marker, 6 sheets of stickers with styles from different art periods, water colors, 6 canvases with 6 frames and a Makayla 2-sided cutout and 3 sided art environment experience.

I love how these can bring out the creativity in kids. Each of these canvases also had stickers that you can use to make up some photos of your own. I love how everyone did their photos and how creative they all were. It’s nice to see how each person does their very own unique idea. Once they are all done with making the photos, you can hang them all up on the wall to display. Such fun!

The chemistry kit was a lot of fun. My daughters were excited about this kit because they were able to grow their very own crystals. We have done this before and we always enjoy it. This is one of their favorite activities to do too. We enjoy all things related to chemistry. It’s nice to see how excited they get when it comes to chemistry. I always enjoyed activities like these when I was a child as well. It’s great to be able to share that with my daughters.

Crystals

This was a simple experiment that we all enjoyed doing. We mixed up everything we were suppose to and wait a few days to start seeing the crystals starting to form. It worked very well. We had a great time with this experiment. Everyone was excited to see when the crystals actually started to form. It didn’t take long to start to see that either.

These kits have been a lot of fun for my daughters. They do have other kits to choose from if your kids want to pick out other kits. They also have other items as well, like puzzles and card games. Make sure to check out Brown Box Toy to see all that they do have. Great STEM activities for kids. Lots of learning to be had with all their products.
