Easter Bunny Butt Sign

Easter is coming up quick. I can’t believe how fast April is going by already. We are already over a week in to April. Spring is here and I’m so ready for the warmer weather. I can’t wait to start seeing the flowers bloom and hearing more birds chirping. Warmer weather is what I love, so I’m very excited for it to get warmer out. I especially love getting together with my family on Easter as well. It’s something I always enjoy during spring. With Easter so close, I decided to make this fun Easter Bunny Butt Sign.

You’ll need a few supplies for this.

Tools/Materials

Pink and White Felt

Paint

Paintbrush

Wood/Board

Pom Pom Ball

Hot Glue/Hot Glue Gun

The first thin you want to do is paint your board. You can have any size of wood that you want, but I went with a smaller piece. I wanted to make a smaller size bunny for my sign. I used green for the background, but you can use any color that you want.

Now you want to find something round to trace to make the bunny’s butt. I used a measuring cup to trace around to make it round. All you have to do is trace it and cut it out.

Now you can get ready to do the bunny’s feet. I didn’t trace for this one because I didn’t really have anything to trace. You can probably find something and print it out online to trace, but I just drew them myself this time. You just need to make some oval shapes big enough for the feet.

After that you can kind of trace the white feet to get the inside pink. Then you can always just trim them down to fit inside the feet. You can also cut out three circles for each foot. Those need to be tiny enough to fit for their feet too.

I used hot glue to stick everything together. Once you have all your pieces cut out, it’s really easy to just glue it all together. You start with the big round white circle for the butt of the bunny, then you can glue on the tail and feet. I ended up finding a pink colored ball for the tail instead of the one I had originally started with. I thought the pink one looked better overall.

Making this Easter Bunny Butt Sign is very simple. I hope that you enjoy the craft and are able to make one yourself. I also did use a WORX Bladerunner saw to cut the piece of wood. This tool works amazing to get the wood cut out. It’s such a simple tool that you can use. It works great for many crafts I’m working on.

Easter Bunny Butt Sign

Equipment

  • 1 Hot Glue Gun/Hot Glue
  • 1 Paintbrush

Materials

  • 1 piece White Felt
  • 1 piece Pink Felt
  • 1 bottle Paint any color of your choice
  • 1 piece Wood/Board
  • 1 piece Pom Pom Ball any color of your choice

Instructions

  • First thing you want to do is cut out your board to the desired size. I made mine smaller because I wanted a small sign. If you want a bigger sign, you can cut one out even bigger.
  • Next you want to paint your piece of wood. You can paint this any color you want. I went with green just because I thought it would make a great background color.
  • Now you can start cutting out the pieces from your felt. For the white felt, you want to cut out a circle for the bunny's butt as well as two legs for the bunny. Then for the pink felt, you want to cut out a smaller piece for its food as well as small circles.
  • Now you just use the hot glue to get all the pieces glued together and on to the wood. Make sure your paint is dry before you place them on. You can refer to the photos to see how everything is glued on.
  • To finish it off, you can glue on the bunny's tail. Now you have a beautiful sign for Easter.

I love it. Bunny butts are just too cute. We have wild bunnies that come into our yard. They are so cute and have a cotton ball tail.
