Camp Warner Bros. – Week 7- Make Your Drive-In Movie Cars /Tom & Jerry Movie: The Fast & The Furry

It’s week 7 of Camp Warner Bros. This week we will be watching Tom and Jerry Movie: The Fast & The Furry. We will also be making our very own drive-in movie cars. Create a fun drive-in movie experience for your kids with these easy and inexpensive DIY cardboard box cars! Easy to customize to each child’s preference, campers will love to play in these cars for weeks to come!

About Tom and Jerry Movie: The Fast & The Furry

Tom and Jerry enter an extreme car race competition called the “Super Race” in order to win the grand prize of a beautiful, dream mansion! Driving suped-up hot rods that can adapt to any environment (land, sea or air), they compete in this wild race around the world, encountering famous landmarks along the way and leaving chaos in their wake.

If you’ve ever been to a drive-in movie, you know how much fun it can be; from piling in the car with your cozy blankets to enjoying your favorite snacks in the Summer air! And if you have ever given a kid an empty cardboard box – you know how much fun they can have, as they use their creativity and let their imagination runs wild for hours!

Once you car is completed – the family can all sit back, relax, and get nostalgic while watching America’s favorite cat and mouse duo as they race around the world in Tom & Jerry Movie: The Fast & The Furry!

We have made cars out of boxes before, and my kids loved it. They were excited to be able to do it again. We love doing activities like these because it gets us all together, and they are a lot of fun.

Both of my daughters decided to do a box car, and one of them did one for Tom and the other did one for Jerry. Since the movie this week is about Tom & Jerry, we wanted to be able to have both Tom and Jerry for the cars they made.

My youngest daughter designed hers with Tom.

Then my oldest did hers with Jerry.

My daughters had so much fun making their drive-in movie cars. It’s a lot of fun making them and seeing them sitting in them while watching the movie. We have done this many times before, and they still enjoy it a lot.

Tom & Jerry Movie: The Fast & The Furry is now available to own on Digital, Blu-ray™ & DVD.

Adorable. I saw that a kindergarten teacher is making these box cars for each of her students to help them maintain social distancing in the room. You creative people!!

It is always great when we can find ways to take the entertainment we see on screens and bring it into the real world as you showed here.
