With it being summer and kids are out of school, it can be hard to keep them busy. I have often heard those words we all hate, I’m bored. My daughters have been doing very well this summer keeping busy and luckily I haven’t heard that much this summer. Both of my daughters have been in summer school and swim lessons this summer, so that has kept them busy for the most part. They’ve got a lot they can do around our house, so it’s not often they get to bored. They are really good with keeping themselves busy.
I know with summer here, kids may be on their electronics more often too. I try to do my best at limiting the amount of time my daughters have on electronics. There is so much to do in summer, so they don’t need to be on their electronics to much. We have a lot of days where we love to spend our time outdoors as a family. Our family has already done so much this summer, and will continue. We love to get out as a family and spend time together. I think summer is the best time to do that too.

Playing Games
One thing our family loves to do, is play games. This is something we have been doing for years. Even when I was little, I would play games very often with my family. It’s something we can all have fun with and enjoy as a family. We never get tired of playing games. We play them almost every day too. Lots of fun for all!
Swimming
Another activity we enjoy doing, is going swimming. We recently got a pool, so my kids have been in there a lot this summer. This has really kept them very busy this summer already. They always want to go in the pool each day. This is probably one of their favorite summer activities too. They love swimming a lot, plus it’s a great way to cool down when it’s hot outside.
