Cheesy Taco Pasta

8 June, 2014 by KatBp 3 Comments

IMG_1836I love tacos but I wanted to switch it up a bit. I always thought jumbo pasta shells would make a lot of great recipes. This is when I decided to try making it like tacos except with the pasta shells of course. Ingredients

  1. 10-20 Jumbo pasta shells
  2. 1 lb. Hamburger
  3. Taco Seasoning
  4. Shredded Cheese
  5. Additional Toppings of your choice. I use black olives, lettuce and sour cream.

Instructions Boil the pasta shells in water over the stove like you normally would cook noodles. While the shells are cooking, cook up the hamburger. When the hamburger is done, strain out the grease and add in the taco seasoning as mentioned on the package. Strain the shells when they’re done and set them somewhere, like in a dish or on a plate. You’ll then want to scoop the taco hamburger mix in to the shells. Next you can add all the additional toppings that you like, I use lettuce, sour cream and black olives. Next you’ll want to sprinkle the shredded cheese over the pasta shells. Microwave them until the cheese melts. Now you’re ready to eat the delicious Cheesy Taco Pasta!
