Continuum Games

10 October, 2018 by KatBp 24 Comments

It’s no surprise that my family and I love to play games. We have tons and tons of games. I find myself getting new games for us to play all the time. It’s fun when they come out with some new games or you just want to check out the old games. No matter what the game is, we always want to give it a try. We are a family who loves to play games and we play them a lot. Continuum Games has a great selection to choose from for games.

We got a couple of games from them, and they’re called Old Maid and Jishaku. I’ve played Old Maid before, but never Jishaku. Both of these games are very simple to learn, and a lot of fun too!

Old Maid has been one of my favorite card games. Ever since I was a child, I use to play this game all the time. I’m sure that many of you have played this game as well. There are a lot of different card games like this one, but the people always look different. I really like this one because I love the way the cards look. The Old Maid actually looks nice in this game too. They all look all nice and fancy the way they’re dressed up. I think that’s great to see when children play the game.

It was great to see how much my daughters really enjoyed the game as well. We’ve been playing this game a lot since we got it. They always play when they have friends over too. It’s such a simple game for children to play. All you have to do is get matching pairs. You start off with dealing out the entire deck of cards. You take out all your pairs that are matching, and then you start playing. The goal is to not have the Old Maid at the end of the game. Whoever has her in the end, loses the game.

Jishaku is a game that we had never heard of or played before. We were very interested in this game since it has to do with magnetics. This game uses finely polished hematite magnets, which is why it can be very tricky playing this game. You have to place your pieces very easily without getting them to all connect together.

My daughters have really become interested in this game, as have I. It’s a lot of fun trying to put down your pieces and making sure they don’t connect together. There are a few different ways you can play this game, but we love to play the regular way since it’s easier for all of us. We just take turns putting pieces down til someone gets all theirs down without getting the pieces connected. If you place yours and they connect, then you have to take all those magnets and keep them and keep playing til someone has no pieces left.

If you’re looking for some fun games to play with the family, make sure to check out Continuum Games. They have more than just the ones we received here too. My daughters and I had so much fun with them. We hope you’ll enjoy them as much as we did.

Old Maid is definitely a fun classic and I like the way those cards look too. Jishaku sounds like an interesting new challenge too.

Old Maid was such a favorite when we were growing up. My Grandma used to play with us and it brings back such great memories. The magnetic game looks like it would be a lot of fun.

I haven’t heard of Jishaku before but it sounds fun. And what a great way to educate children on how magnets work as well.
