Crayola Crafting Party

10 February, 2020 by KatBp 60 Comments

My daughters and I enjoy doing a lot of arts and crafts together. It’s fun, and it really does bring everyone together. Crayola has always been a wonderful choice when it comes to crafting with my kids. They are one of our favorite brands when it comes to wanting to do arts and crafts. I recently got some kids together so that they could all have some fun with Crayola. We did a big crafting party, and everyone had a lot of fun. We did a lot of coloring and painting together.

About Crayola

Whether it’s providing tools to put a purple octopus on the moon, or enabling teachers to bring arts-infused learning into the classroom, Crayola is passionate about helping parents and educators raise creatively alive children who they believe will grow to be inspired, original adults.

Crayola has inspired artistic creativity in children for more than 100 years – since the first box of Crayola crayons rolled off the assembly line in 1903. The company began when cousins Edwin Binney and C. Harold Smith took over Edwin’s father’s pigment business in 1885. Early products included red oxide pigment used as barn paint and carbon black used in car tires.

After noticing a need for safe, high quality, affordable wax crayons, in 1903, Crayola produced the first box of eight crayons and sold them for 5 cents.

Since then, the Crayola brand has grown into a portfolio of innovative art tools, crafting activities, and creative toys that give kids the power to express all that inspires them as they explore, discover, play, pretend, and dream.

We had a great turnout to our Crayola Crafting Party, and everyone was so excited to get started. Everyone had already heard about Crayola, and they were all super excited to start on their own projects.

We decided to start with the canvases right away. Almost everyone wanted to paint a canvas, so we decided that would be the perfect thing to start with. Everything we used for this party was all Crayola, so all the beautiful colors and such you see was all done with Crayola products. (Except some kids used pencils to draw on their canvases before coloring them.) It seemed that everyone really enjoys painting, and they all did such a wonderful job. It’s fun to see how creative everyone got. They all had their own ideas about what to make too. It was great to see so many wonderful ideas and not a one of them were alike.

This canvas was done by my daughter Tesla, and she actually used a lot of different Crayola products. She used the washable project paints, washable glitter glue and Take Note! permanent markers.

All the kids were so creative with their paintings. It’s always fun to see what kids can come up with when they want to paint, or any kind of drawing. Everyone is so different, so it’s so much fun seeing all their creative ideas. Many of them used the paints as well as glitter glue. A lot of the kids did use a lot of glitter glue, and I thought they turned out wonderful. Glitter always makes things so much fun.

Here is another painting that was done with a lot of glitter glue as well. It was very sparkly and beautiful.

Here is another painting done by one of the kids. I thought she did an amazing job as well. This was definitely a creative one too. I could tell right away what she had made and it was so lovely.

Of course we had to have some coloring going on as well. All the kids were able to use the crayons and markers to do some drawings. They also used construction paper to do their drawings on. I know drawings are something many kids love to do too. It’s one of the most common art projects that my kids and many other kids we know do. It’s always fun to see what all the kids come up with when they draw pictures. I keep a lot of these pictures for memories as well, so it’s great doing stuff like this with the kids. I know everyone had fun drawing too.

The crayons and markers from Crayola are something my family has been using for years. In fact, I still remember using the brand when I was a kid too. It’s one of the only brands we trust because their products actually hold well.

I absolutely love how Crayola can bring kids together for some fun arts and crafts. We had such a great turnout to our Crayola Crafting Party! Everyone had such a blast too. They were all so excited to do all these crafts together. I was very proud of them all, as they all did such wonderful jobs. All the kids were so excited to show off their pieces of work they did as well.

Crayola has been a part of our family for years. It’s amazing how their products can bring everyone together. We all enjoy using them, and will continue to use them throughout the years. We were very excited to have had the chance to host a wonderful party for everyone. It sure was a blast! You can find many of these Crayola products at many locations near you. I’ve found them at many stores like Target and Walmart, and many more. I hope you all have the chance to get creative with your kids too!

What a fun idea! My kids love crafting and art in general, so I’m sure they’d have fun sharing it with friends. We are definitely a Crayola only household. I bought some cheaper crayons once, and learned my lesson.
