Darkridge Reunion: A Killer Party Game

If you love a good murder mystery game, then you have got to check out Darkridge Reunion. This is such a fun game to play with your family and friends. My kids and I love playing games like these. We always find them to be very thrilling and fun. Get all your friends and family over to play this game. The more people you have, the more fun the game is. My daughters invited some friends over for a sleepover this past weekend, and they all played a couple rounds of this game. Everyone had such a blast too.

The first thing you want to do in this Darkridge Reunion game, is have everyone choose their characters. You want to make these all as even as possible. There are three different types of characters, and those are the geek, rebel and jock. Try to get an even amount of people on each team. If you have an odd number, it’s okay too. Just try to have them as even as possible.

After everyone has their characters picked out, they’ll want to draw out a secret mission. One player will end up drawing the slasher card, which means they’re the killer. Each of these cards has different tasks on them. They are all worth different amounts of points, so make sure to pick the one you want to accomplish. It’s a lot of fun seeing everyone doing all their tasks too.

Whoever ends up being the slasher will also get the foam dagger. This will be used as the weapon. It also lights up, so if you’re playing in the dark you can turn it on to light it up.

After getting your secret mission cards, you are now ready to get your artifact. You will be able to draw out two of these cards from the bag, but you will only get to keep one. You’ll have to read them and decide which one you’d like to keep. These cards grant you with a power, so they are great to have. Everyone will want to have one of these powers. These are only used in the advance version of the game though. If you don’t want to play advanced, then you won’t need to use these cards.

The ghost objective cards are also for a more advance game. These are for if you have been killed by the slasher. You will now become a ghost if that happens. Then you grab one of these cards and do what is on this card. These cards can be a lot of fun as well. Once you get the hang of the game, I’d highly recommend using these advanced cards. They add so much more fun to the game.

Once you’re finished with the game it is now time for your accusations. This is where you can all talk about who you think the killer was. There is even a score chart that comes with the game. You can use this to score everything up, but again, this is for the advance game as well. The points are all for if you’re wanting to do the advance game. Once you get everything added up you’ll be able to see who won the game overall.

It may take a few tries at the game before you really know how to play and get use to it, especially if you’re wanting to play the more advanced game. It’s definitely a game to play with your friends and family. I think everyone will have a great time. I know we all sure did. If you love a good murder mystery game, then this is the game for you.
