E is for Escape Room

16 October, 2026 by KatBp 6 Comments

We just finished with the letter E, and Mercades got to choose this letter. She decided to go with an escape room. Now, our family has gone to many escape rooms before. We absolutely love doing escape rooms. This however, was a new area for us. We had never been here before. Everyone was very excited to go somewhere new to try out an escape room.

We ended up going to a room called Connolly’s Office. If you have never been to an escape room before, I highly suggest at least going to one. They are a lot of fun, especially if you are one who loves to try to solve puzzles. Sometimes these rooms have more than just one room, and when you’re in there solving puzzles, you may unlock yet another door to lead you in to another room.

When we got there, we were greeted at the entrance, and they always ask if you have ever done an escape room before. They will show you how all the locks work and everything. It’s always nice to have someone their to explain everything to you. They give you a little story that goes along with the room as well. It’s pretty neat.

We were able to get a photo inside the room once we were all done. We did in fact escape! It was a lot of fun, and we almost didn’t make it out in time either. We had minutes to spare by the time we made it. Don’t mind some of us, as this was taken after we were all running around trying to escape. Haha!

Once we were done and headed out the door, I saw this on display. I thought it was neat that this was a room based off of something real. It was neat to be able to see this. I don’t think we had ever done a room where it was somewhat based off something real. Pretty neat!! Of course we all had an amazing time as we always do when we do escape rooms. I’m sure we’ll be back to this area again sometime to check out another one of their rooms too.

I have not yet experienced an escape room but so want to when my oldest daughter comes to visit next month. This place looks awesome and so much fun for all of us!

I love a good escape room and have participated a few times at various locations. The Connolly’s Office looks like a good one and I’m glad you escaped!
