Have you ever used Epsom Salt before? There are so many different uses for Epsom Salt. I was very surprised at some of the ways you could use it. I honestly would have never thought about some of the ways it’s actually used.

Epsom Salt is made up of magnesium and sulfate, which can help your health in many different ways. Did you know that 68% of US adults consume less than the recommended daily allowance of magnesium? Magnesium helps regulate the activity of more than 300 enzymes in the body. A lack of magnesium contributes to high blood pressure, hyperactivity, heart problems and other health issues. Sulfate helps to flush toxins and form protein in joints, brain tissue and mucin proteins. Did you know that soaking in Epsom Salt can help increase the body’s levels of magnesium and sulfate?

There are many different ways to use Epsom Salt and some of those include:

  • Facials
  • Shrubs
  • Foot Scrub
  • Roses
  • Houseplants
  • Natural Hair Volumizer
  •  Garden Startup
  • Veggies
  • Lawn Care
  • Aching Foot Bath
  • Relax
  • Fade Bruises & Ease Muscles
  • Treat Poison Ivy, Bee Stings & Mosquito Bites

As you can see, there are so many different ways to use Epsom Salt. I’m sure you can find a new way to use it. The Epsom Salt came at a great time for me. A few days after receiving it I went out to do some Christmas shopping. I can’t remember what I had done, but I hurt my knee and I was having trouble walking. It hurt just to move my leg. I think I banged my knee on something at the store while I was shopping. After getting home after a long day of shopping I noticed that I had a bruise on my knee. I just knew this was going to be the perfect time to use the Epsom Salt. After getting the kids to bed I ran a tub of warm water and poured in some Epsom Salt. It was so relaxing that I was starting to fall asleep. My knee was even starting to feel better just by being in the tub filled with water and Epsom Salt. I went right to bed after getting out of the bathtub and I was able to move my knee more the next day and it didn’t hurt as much. After only a day or two of using the Epsom Salt in a bath, I was able to move my knee fully again and it never hurt after that. My bruise went away within three days. I was so amazed that it went away so quickly because my bruises take forever to fade away. I bruise very easily and it always takes a week or longer to heal completely.

Check out some of the crafts I did with the Epsom Salt. I put some of the salt on an ornament and some candles. I think it gives it a great look. It makes the ornament and candles look much better with the Epsom Salt. It gives it a crystal look without the expensive cost. All I did was use some Elmer’s clear glue and then rolled it in the Epsom Salt. It was as easy as that and they look so nice! What other ideas could you come up with? I’m sure there are a lot of ideas out there.

I’m so thankfully to have had the opportunity to review Epsom Salt. I never thought a product could work so well with my muscle aches as well as fading away my bruises. There are so many ways to use Epsom Salt and I’m sure you could even find your own way to use it. Make sure to check them out on Facebook too.

Disclosure: I received these products in exchange for a review. The opinions are all my own and may differ from yours.
