Get Creative With Crayola Glitter Dots

15 August, 2019 by KatBp 50 Comments

Crayola has always been a number one choice for my family. We absolutely love all of their products, and we like when they come out with new products too. They have recently come out with a newer product called Crayola Glitter Dots. My daughters are always asking to use glitter with just about any craft they do. I love glitter, but I hate the mess. The Glitter Dots are glitter, but with less mess.

If your kids love glitter, arts & crafts, then these Glitter Dots may be the perfect activity to do. These dots are both sparkly and squishy, and they create 3D effects on all kinds of surface. You can squish and spread these Glitter Dots on whichever surface you choose. You can choose to have your own, or Crayola has keychains, fills and signs you can design. They also have three different color packs to choose from, and those are tropical, bold and classic colors.

My daughters and I had a couple of parties because not everyone could come to the first one. Some other kids really wanted to try them out, so I had a couple of get togethers so that everyone had a chance to try out the Glitter Dots. I would have to say that the keychains were by far the favorite for everyone. We all thought these were the easiest to squish the dots on and have them stay too. We liked that the pieces could clip together to keep the Glitter Dots inside so they wouldn’t fall out or off.

Having Fun

All the kids had so much fun being able to create what they wanted. I thought everyone did a wonderful job and they were all so creative too. It was fun getting everyone together since school will be started back up again soon for us. It’s always fun getting kids together so they can have a great time doing projects like these. I love that Crayola can get everyone together. I know many of these kids are going to be using their keychains they made for their backpacks this school year.

The kids really loved creating the fills as well. These fills are mosaic frames that they can set up anywhere in their homes. They really liked that they were able to stand these ones up. Some of them used the markers from the signs to fill in some of the spots as well. I thought they were extremely creative with these.

I could see all the excitement on all the kids faces when they were making their own creations. They all enjoyed being able to create something for themselves. All the kids liked how the dots were squishy too. I think that was one of the things they really enjoyed the most. Being able to squish the Glitter Dots on their projects was something they really liked.

Fun Kits

They have a lot of different fun kits to choose from too. There are keychains, sparkle signs, stencil stickers, sparkle station, sparkle fills, 2-in-1 craft kits, 3-in-1 craft kits, 4-in-1 craft kits and 2-in-1 sparkle craft kits. For our fun get togethers, we used the sparkle signs, sparkle fills and the keychains. All of which were so much fun for all the kids. We are looking forward to trying out the others as well. I know my kids were interested in the stencils and sparkle station. We’re excited for the launch so we can them out too!

Crayola Glitter Dots are so much for for both kids and adults. Yes, adults can do this too! In fact, we had many adults getting in on these as well. We all had fun creating them. This is a simple activity for all kids. They’re great for crafting, and they adhere to a variety of surfaces, like paper, wood, felt, paper mache, fabrics, styrofoam, and more. This new line of Glitter Dots will launch this holiday 2019! Make sure to check for them this holiday in your local retail stores.

These look like the ones that I made when I was a kid. The ones I had, had to be baked. So these are so much better.

This looks like the perfect rainy day activity for the kids. I love how everyone’s creation came out so colorful and vibrant. I’ll have to grab a set for my son to do this winter when it is too cold outside to play.

These glitter dots are so much better than regular glitter. One year I worked my work’s kids’ Christmas party. The glitter was everywhere and so hard to sweep off the floor.
