Do you love chocolate? I’m sure most of us love to have some chocolate once in a while. I know I really love chocolate but try not to eat it to often. I’m always interested in trying out different types of chocolates that I haven’t had before. Have you heard about Guylian chocolates before?

The Guylian Story

Guy Foubert was a passionate Belgian Chocolatier making handmade chocolate truffles in
Sint-Niklaas, Belgium. In 1958, Guy and Liliane joined their names, both in marriage
and in their company name creating Chocolaterie Guylian; a small, artisanal
chocolate maker. Today, Guylian crafts the finest authentic Belgian
chocolate truffles, selling them to chocolate lovers in Belgium and in more
than 100 countries across the world.

I was sent a mix variety of Guylian chocolate to review.I was sent some milk chocolate and dark chocolate no added sugar chocolate bars, extra dark chocolate truffles, a seasonal gift box of Artisanal Belgian chocolate truffles, classic truffles, a box of milk and white chocolates and a lot of different sized boxes of Artisanal Belgian chocolate truffles.

All of these chocolates are like no other chocolate I’ve had before. They’re very delicious and so amazing. I can’t believe I have never tried these before. I was definitely missing out. I also love the shapes of them. Most chocolate is just normal and boring. With Guylian they actual make shapes out of the chocolate with seahorses and shells. I think they definitely stand out more.

They’re marbled with 100% pure, silky smooth milk and with dark or white Belgian chocolate. This is why you see most of them with two different colors, because of the marbling. All of the seashell and seahorse chocolates are made with rich, decadent, and luxurious creamy chocolate truffle. You’ll see that most of them have a hazelnut filling inside. I’d say those of you that love coffee would  probably really enjoy those. They were defiantly different yet very delicious.

The milk chocolate no sugar added bars were amazing. I usually won’t eat plain chocolate because I simply don’t like it. It was very different with these bars. I really enjoyed them and I was surprised to hear about them having no sugar added. It’s always great to have a healthier option to chocolate without all the guilt.

You can see with the photo above I bit off a piece of the chocolate so you can see the inside. That’s where all the hazelnut filling is. I’d have to say that one of my favorites was probably the white chocolate since I’m a huge fan of white chocolate. I love how smooth and creamy all of the chocolate is.

If you’re a fan of chocolate and want to try out something different then I’d recommend trying Guylian chocolate. They really are very unique and delicious.
