The holidays are near, and I’m so excited to be able to spend more time with family and friends. This is one of my favorite times of the year. I love getting together with loved ones. Something about Christmas gives you that wonderful feeling of being around those you love. I’m excited to celebrate Christmas with my loved ones this year.
One of my favorite things about the holidays have always been to spend it with my daughters and husband. I just love the look on my girls faces when they open up their gifts. It really brightens up the room when you see them very happy. It reminds me of when I was little and spend that time with my loved ones opening up gifts as well.
Have you got all your Christmas shopping done yet? I am officially done shopping for everyone on my list. I’m happy to finally be done shopping, and can’t wait to hand out gifts and see the look on everyone’s face when they open them up. If you’re still looking for some gifts for your kids, Hasbro has some great products for them. Yippie Yippie Yeti, Pie Face Showdown, My Little Pony Explore Equestria Crystal Empire Playset and Disney’s Moana, Starlight Canoe & Friends Set are four of the items I was sent, and I think they’d make wonderful gifts this year.
Yippie Yippie Yet is a really fun and interesting game. My girls really loved playing this game, and so did I. We love all kinds of board games. This one was certainly a different game then any others we are used to. In this game, you want to be the first one to score five points and get to the top of the mountain. Since my daughters and I played this game, that makes three of us. That means we have to take out three cards and set them down by the board game. What you want to do, is get your players up by those pictures on the cards. You’ll see pictures on the board game piece that will match with those cards. The first one to reach one of those cards, gets the points mentioned on the cards. Once you reach your five points, you want to keep climbing to the top of the mountain. Once you reach the top, you win!
There is one thing that is tricky about this game though. You have the Yeti and all your players that may end up falling. If the players fall, you have to start from the bottom of the mountain. If the Yeti falls, you have to set him down til someone rolls a Yeti on the dice. This game could take a while before anyone wins if your pieces keep falling. It’s such a fun game though. My daughters and I really enjoy playing this.
I’m sure by now most of you have heard about the Pie Face Showdown game. You may have actually heard of the first one, but this is the second one they have made that includes two people on each end. With this one, each player will keep hitting the red button til someone gets pie in their face. This game does come with a sponge in case you have kids that may not want the whipped cream in their face. My oldest likes to use the sponge instead.
My oldest daughter, Mercades actually brought this game to school for all the kids to play. Her class had a day where they were able to bring in toys or games, and she wanted to bring this one in. Everyone had a great time and there were lots of laughs! This is such a simple game that’s very quick and easy to do. I’m sure you’ll have a lot of great laughs with it too.
If you have kids that love My Little Pony, then they’ll love this playset. My girls were so excited about this one. They love both castles and My Little Pony, so it was no surprise when they wanted to open up this one right away. This is a two-story castle that comes with a lot of accessories for the ponies and castle.
My girls were having so much fun with this playset. It also lights up when you put batteries in it. My girls liked to see the castle all lit up. It makes it look like a very enchanting castle while it’s lit up. I love that it came with many accessories too. Sometimes the accessories are what really make up a product. This set came with 16 accessories, so the kids enjoyed all of those to put around the castle.
The Moana set was another great toy for my girls. My youngest, Tesla, really enjoys playing with boats/ships. This canoe was a really fun one for her. It had wheels on the bottom, so that she was able to move it around across the floor. You can sit Moana right inside the ship along with her friends Pua and Hei Hei.
If you put batteries in the canoe, it will shine a light. You can push the button on the canoe to light it up. There is also a piece on the side that can move the light. You can have it shining straight ahead or you can have it shining up higher in the air.
If you’re still looking for a great gift for someone, I hope that you’ll check out Hasbro and all they have to offer. I have many Hasbro products in my home. My girls have a lot of their toys, and we have many of the games as well. We have always been a huge fan of Hasbro. They always come out with some great products that the whole family can enjoy.

My son is begging for the game Pie Face! I’m thinking about getting it for Christmas but I have a feeling at some point it might actually bite me in the butt because I know I will be the one that gets the pie in the face LOL.
