Do your kids ever have a hard time expressing their feelings? It can be hard for kids to let you know how they’re feeling. Sometimes kids get frustrated and they won’t tell you what’s going on either. I have this happen often with my kids. They don’t always want to tell me what’s going on, but instead they get frustrated or upset. It can be tough on both the parents and a child when kids don’t want to tell you about their feelings. With the Whatsitsface Plush Pals, they’re able to to express themselves through the facial expressions of their doll.

About

Whatsitsface Teddy Bear, Kitty Cat and Puppy Dog are the perfect companions for your child. They are soft, cuddly and their changing faces offer endless opportunities for fun learning. Parents love interacting with their children using the toys to teach emotions during playtime, and for the children who have a healthy understanding of emotions, Whatsitsface is the perfect toy for fostering pretend play.

That EQ growth is even more important during these stay-at-home days and the expansion of online learning. “Watching your kids engage with a physical toy in the physical world — instead of being plugged-in — is what childhood is all about,” suggests Paul, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Whatsitsface. “Having a plush to cuddle and to actually communicate with really brings our stuffed animals to life, extending playtime and nurturing social and emotional development.”

Plush Pals

There are three different plush pals to choose from, which are a puppy, cat, and bear. Each of these characters come with six different face expressions. They can be happy, sad, surprised, angry, amused and sleepy. All these faces can help your kids some fun imaginative play. Think of all the fun they can have with multiple changing faces. My kids have been having a blast with them. It’s great for developing emotional intelligence as well.

Face Expressions

The face expressions are so adorable. I love all the wonderful faces they have. It’s nice that kids are able to switch them all up. I think this is going to be so helpful for kids to express their own feelings too. Kids can make these plush pals come to life with all their face expressions too. It’s a wonderful way to keep them busy for long periods of time. I also think it’s fun to see how kids play with them and how they use their imaginations.

There is the knob at the top of each of these plushies which will turn the face around. It reveals a different face when you twist it. When you use this knob, it’s going to reveal three different faces.

You can also just flip the face around yourself to reveal even more expressions. When doing this, it will reveal another three different faces. Altogether between doing these two options, you’ll get six different face expressions.

Even the back of them is adorable! They have these hearts on the back of them. They each have tails, which of course they should since they’re all animals. I think the back with the hearts looks really cute.

Kids Love Them

My daughters love all these fun faces these plush pals make. My youngest daughter, Tesla, especially loves these the most. Ever since we got these she has been playing with them and switching up their faces. She’s amazed at how the faces keep switching to a new expression. These are going to be wonderful for kids. It creates some imaginative play and helps them deal with their own expressions. Kids may even change the face to what they’re feeling. One of my favorite faces is the sleepy face. I’m sure kids will love to put that face on and cuddle with them at night when they go to sleep too. There is a lot of fun pretend play with Whatsitsface.

If you’d like the chance to win one of these yourself, all you have to do is enter below for your chance to win. Good luck to everyone.

These are sooo cute and sooo relevant to what’s going on right now. This will help so many children’s social/emotional needs and increase ability to express themselves when they cannot.

This is probably the best thing for children I’ve seen in a long time. Emotions are so hard for adults to figure out and express. Trying to do it as children is ridiculously hard sometimes. These are great.

It’s always nice to have a new way to help kids express their feelings. I have always worked with my kids to keep a home that they can speak their feelings, even if I don’t like how they’re expressing them. We have worked on h healthy ways to express those feelings too, and so far so good, they are all older now!

It’s nice to see toys like this that focus on emotional intelligence. With the push for so much computer related learning, like coding and STEM classes, it seems like learning how to interact with others and regulating your emotions isn’t taught as much as it should be. This type of toy is good to start younger children off on the right foot.
