What is Kinderfeets?

Kinderfeets is a wooden balance bike.

It can also be called a training bike or a running bike.

When my boys were little I bought the short 2 wheeled bicycle with training wheels. Then when they cried and begged, I finally took the training wheels off. They promptly either got on the bike and fell or were too scared to even get on it. Eventually I would convince them that I would hold them up so they wouldn’t fall. It still took quite a bit of “Mon time” or “Dad time” Does that sound familiar?

The Kinderfeets is designed by a Dutch designer living in California. He originally made this bike for his son because what he wanted was not available. The Kinderfeets has a patent pending.

For children 2 and older, maximum weight of 70 lbs. Sets low to the ground and has a low step through frame, allowing for lower seat settings. No-Air tires and washable seat cover. Footpegs for cruising. Wooden and comes in a natural wood finish or in 6 colors in Chalk-board finish.

I love the concept of Kinderfeets Balance Bike. It seems so much safer for children than the training wheel bikes. I have 2 grandchildren that are not riding tw0-wheeled bikes yet so this is perfect for them. One of them is a little older but she has always been afraid to try a tw0-wheeler. My grandson is just reaching the age of attempting to ride a two-wheeler. They are both under 70 lbs. so the weight limit was no problem. Here is a picture of Brianna on the Kinderfeet. Looks like she is definitely enjoying her ride. William rode it too, but Brianna has claimed it as her own.
