The 24 Krystal Holiday Steamer Pack

12 December, 2016 by KatBp 14 Comments

Disclosure: I was sent some items in exchange for a post. The opinions are all 100% mine.

Yearly, Krystal unveils their secret stuffing recipe to all Krystal lovers on their 24 count Steamer Box, where the main ingredient is – Krystals! From November 1st onward, all Steamer Packs will have a festive, holiday theme that includes 24 famous Krystal burgers, Krystal’s unique Thanksgiving stuffing recipe, plus a fun gingerbread house-building template.

I’ve got the full recipe here, so you’ll find that below!

INGREDIENTS

20 Krystal steamers

2 1/4 cups diced celery

1 small onion, diced

2 1/4 teaspoons thyme

2 1/4 teaspoons sage

2 1/4 teaspoons pepper

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1/4-3/4 cups chicken broth

DIRECTIONS

Put Krystal burgers in refrigerator and cool overnight. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Take a 9-by-13-inch casserole dish and tear the burgers into tiny bite-size pieces, discarding the pickle from each. Add chopped celery and onions, thyme, sage, pepper and salt. Mix. Add chicken broth and stir until everything is moist. Add a little more stock if needed. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake additional 15 minutes or until top is crispy. Serve warm.

I know that Thanksgiving is over, but stuffing is still great for Christmas! I love stuffing a lot, so I’ll make this for any holiday! Have any of you tried out this stuffing recipe yet? If so, what did you think of it? I’d love to hear about it. I don’t have a Krystal’s near me, so I won’t be able to enjoy this. I hope that someday I’ll be able to enjoy Krystal’s when I’m in the area near one!

They sent me some great items so that I could cook up some recipes. I wish that I had Krystal near me so I could make the stuffing. It sounds amazing! I’d love it if some of my readers would be able to share with me some of the stuffing they made from Krystals!

How many of you have ever been to Krystal before? I’d love to hear about your experience and whether you’ve tried the steamer box yet!

My husband would love this. We have White Castle here and he’d love a reason to have them in our house.

Such an interesting idea. We don’t have a Crystal near me, but if we did I would love to give this recipe a try.
