LEGO Builder’s Journey on the Nintendo Switch

Do you or your kids enjoy building games? My daughters have always loved to build with LEGO’s. We have a lot of LEGO’s at home. My daughters have always been very creative when it comes to building things. They also enjoy building with video games or computer games. One of our newest favorite ways to build, is with LEGO Builder’s Journey on the Nintendo Switch.

Building and Puzzles

This game is so much fun. You can build so many different creations. It’s like bringing all the LEGO’s to life in the game. You won’t always get to build what you want though, because there are many puzzles to do as well. Sometimes you’ll have to build something that is asked, and other times you’ll build something that you want to come up with. It’s a lot of fun trying to build these puzzles, but it’s also fun building your own. It’s actually really nice to have the combination of both. I’ve always loved puzzles myself, so I enjoy building these.

A story about play, connections and adventure.

Step through levels brick by brick with puzzles that ask us to sometimes follow the instructions… and sometimes to be creative and break the rules.

Builder’s Journey is a poetic puzzle that takes place in a LEGO® brick world, brought to life with the most accurately rendered LEGO® elements yet to feature on screens. Be taken through a breathtaking world filled with brick-by-brick effects, accompanied by a beautiful soundtrack.

Throughout the narrative, there will be ups and downs, challenges and celebrations. Take the time to experiment, and most importantly, to play as figuring out who we are and what we become is the Builder’s Journey.

LEGO Group

BILLUND, Denmark – [June 2, 2021] –  The LEGO® Group brings players a heartwarming narrative in the charming LEGO Builder’s Journey, launching on PC and Nintendo Switch on June 22. The first console launch in 15 years, LEGO Builder’s Journey is an artistic, nonverbal puzzle adventure that follows a father and son on a journey through a LEGO world, highlighting the importance of play in our lives.

“When they released LEGO Builder’s Journey in 2019, it quickly became a fan-favorite among LEGO fans and the larger gaming community,” said Karsten Lund, creative director/head of studio, Light Brick Studio. “They are thrilled to introduce the game to a whole new audiences playing on PC and Switch. They look forward to hearing the reaction from player communities on these platforms, and already have plans in motion to expand to other console platforms later this summer.”

The PC version of LEGO Builder’s Journey features significant graphical upgrades, including ray-traced ambient occlusion, global illumination, reflections, and shadows, as players traverse the game world, filled with unique puzzles to be solved using LEGO bricks.

This is a wonderful game for those who already love LEGO’s as well as building. My kids especially love to build, so this was the perfect game for them. We also enjoy puzzles a lot, so that part of it I enjoy a lot. It’s definitely a game for those who love to build things. It is so much fun to play. Definitely a game worth playing.

LEGO Builder’s Journey will be available for Steam and the Epic Games Store and Nintendo Switch on June 22, 2021. To learn more, please visit https://www.lightbrick.com/builders-journey.

I love playing Legos when I was a kid. And of course now it’s not appropriate anymore, so glad now it can be done on my PC.

I learned something new that you might like: the plural of Lego is Lego. No “s!” I’ve been saying it wrong forever.
