Valentine’s Kids Lunchboxes “Think Outside the Lunchbox”

It’s hard to believe it’s a new year already. Last year went by so quick, but I’m excited to see what’s in store for the new year. With a new year usually comes resolutions. How many of you have already made a new years resolution? I normally don’t do resolutions, but try to set more goals during the year. I don’t always tend to stick to those resolutions, so making goals is a lot easier for me to do. This year I want to exercise more and eat healthier. I know that is a very common resolution for many too.

I am not only trying to be healthier, but I want my daughters to be as well. That means that when I do pack school lunches for them, I want to make sure they’re getting healthier items in their lunchboxes. I love to come up with creative ways to get them to eat their foods. Of course it’s easy for me to just put something in their lunchboxes and they’ll eat it because they do love healthier foods too. I just think it’s always more fun for kids to open up their lunchboxes to something fun and creative.

Del Monte® will be hosting a themed “Think Outside the Lunchbox” booklet on 1 million packages of it’s Fruit Cups at WALMART, with $4.80 in instant coupon savings from these great lunchbox brands: The Laughing Cow® Cheese Dippers, Sara Lee® Snack Cakes, Juicy Juice®, Nature’s Harvest® bread, Wet Ones® Hand Wipes, Mini Babybel® and Entenmann’s® Little Bites™!

Since Valentine’s Day is nearing, I have been wanting to do some Valentines crafts and recipes. Since I do love being creative with my daughters lunchboxes, I thought of some Valentine’s theme ideas to do with their lunchboxes. I think it’s great to always be so crafty for kids because they always enjoy it. My girls love it when I can get creative with their lunchboxes.

I picked up a couple of the products off the list that was shown above. I bought some of the Little Bites blueberry muffins and the Del Monte fruit cups. I love to put fruit in with my daughters lunchboxes because they love it. Since I bought the fruit cups, I wanted to make some kind of love bug. I had some craft items lying around the house, so I just started getting crafty and came up with this love bug out of the fruit cup. I also love putting the Little Bites in with their lunches too. I was able to make some heart sandwiches with some jelly. Then I decided to just write a valentine on the banana.

It’s so much fun creating lunches for your children. I hope you all love to be creative when you make your kid’s school lunches as well. There is so much you can come up with too. There are so many ideas out there and you can be so creative with it and have so much fun. The ideas for kids lunches are never-ending. With all these amazing products, you can create anything you can think of! I’m sure your kids will appreciate all the work you put in to it. Just to see my kids smile is enough for me. I love to make them happy, and if that means making their lunchboxes like this for school all the time, then I’ll certainly do it!

Remember that you can start looking for the lunch box savings right away on these brands at Walmart. I love to use coupons, so anytime I see a coupon for something that I already use, I’ll take that coupon. I love it when brands like Del Monte put coupon savings right on the package because I often check those out and use them too. It’s a great way for you to try something new as well.

Think outside the lunch box and create something special for your kids lunchboxes. Have you used any of these products mentioned for your kids school lunches? I would love to hear of some creative ways that you have done with your kids lunchboxes too.

Yummy lunch! Kids get easily bored with their lunches, so we really have to make them appealing and exciting for them.
