If you have been following along my movie journey, you’ll know that my daughters and I are watching movies from a list I made. You can check that list out HERE if you’d like. There are a ton of movies on this list that I plan to watch with my daughters. These were movies I watched growing up, so I want them to experience these movies as well. We all sit down as a family each week and pick out a movie. We don’t always get to watch one a week, but we try.

“The Indian in the Cupboard” was such a big part of my childhood in the 90s, and your article really brought back those memories. It’s wonderful how the movie captures the imagination and teaches important lessons about different cultures. Your thoughts on its adaptation and lasting themes really hit home. Thanks for revisiting this classic!
Of course! It really was a wonderful movie.

My kids and I have been looking for good family movies to watch together, and your recommendation sounds perfect. I appreciate the snack suggestion too—bread and cheese sounds simple and fun!
Hopefully you will all like this one.

I never saw the Indian on the Cupboard, but I remember seeing previews of it. It looks interesting, and I think it’s based on a book I have not read yet. Looks cool!
