Movie #28 is Clueless

If you have been following along my movie journey, you’ll know that my daughters and I are watching movies from a list I made. You can check that list out HERE if you’d like. There are a ton of movies on this list that I plan to watch with my daughters. These were movies I watched growing up, so I want them to experience these movies as well. We all sit down as a family each week and pick out a movie. We don’t always get to watch one a week, but we try.

About Clueless

Jane Austen might never have imagined that her 1816 novel Emma could be turned into a fresh and satirical look at ultra-rich teenagers in a Beverly Hills high school. Cher (Alicia Silverstone) and Dionne (Stacey Das h), both named after “great singers of the past t hat now do infomercial s,” are pampered upper-class girls who care less about getting good grad es than wearing the right clothes and being as popular as possible. But Cher, who lives with her tough yet warm-hearted lawyer dad (Dan Hedaya) and hunky, sensitive step brother (Paul Rudd), also has an innate urge t o help those less fortunate — like the two introverted teachers she brings together (“negotiating” herself improved grades in the process) and new friend Tai (Brittany Murphy), who starts out a geek and ends up a Cher prodigy. Cher also possesses her own sensitive side, and she is looking for the perfect boyfriend, whom she ends up finding where she least expected.

Clueless has always been one of my favorite movies. It’s one of those classic movies that you just love, at least for me it is. For this movie we decided to go with some edible cookie dough, and pretzel bites. The pretzels didn’t really have to do with the movie I don’t think, but the cookie dough sure did. There was a scene in the movie where Cher puts the whole thing of cookie dough on a pan and in the oven. This was something I always remembered from the movie, so we made some edible cookie dough for it.

Clueless is such a wonderful movie. I could watch this movie over and over again and never get bored with it. It’s such a classic. Both of my daughters have been wanting to see this movie, so I’m glad it was on my list. They both enjoyed the movie a lot, and have seen it a few times now too. I’m so glad they love it as much as I do. It’s such a great movie.

Have you ever seen this movie before? I would be shocked if I heard you haven’t. Haha! I would love what you all think about the movie. Hopefully this was a good movie for you all as well. It sure is one of my favorites. You can grab a copy of AMAZON now too if you want.

This is the best movie ever! I watch with my daughter often. We quote it. She even dressed like Cher one year.

This has to be one of the best movies. I remember watching it years back and noticing at the time the similarities between the film and Emma having studied the book at school. Ha, I just bought cookie dough. I feel a movie night with my daughters coming up!!!!!

This is one of my favorites. This movie made me want to have those furry pens in high school. Haha!

I have watched this more than 10x but it was only recently that I realized Antman was Josh.
