Norm of the North: Keys to the Kingdom

14 January, 2019 by KatBp 38 Comments

With the weather being chilly because of winter, my family usually has to find indoor activities because we don’t love the cold weather so much. We do love the snow, but we’d rather be indoors when it’s cold out. There hasn’t been a whole lot of snow so far for us, which is very odd, considering we do live in Wisconsin. It’s actually been in the high 20’s-30’s lately, and that’s not normal for us this time of year. We are all really hoping for some more snow, but we are enjoying the not to cold weather. One of our favorite things to do in winter, is to go sledding, so we’re hoping for some snow so we can at least do that this year.

One thing we enjoy when it’s to cold to go outside, is to stay indoors and watch a movie. This is the perfect time of year to get the whole family together to enjoy a movie. We love cuddling on the couch while watching movies and having some popcorn. It’s one of the best activities for the entire family. Right now, Norm of the North: Keys to the Kingdom will be opening in select theaters and available everywhere On Demand on Friday, January 11. This is a perfect time to get the family together for a great family movie!

The sequel to 2016’s box office hit Norm of the North and the first in a new original Lionsgate franchise, NORM OF THE NORTH: KEYS TO THE KINGDOM tells the story of Norm, the newly crowned polar bear king of the arctic, travels to New York to accept the keys to the city. But Norm goes from hero to villain when he’s framed for a crime he didn’t commit! While he is trying to clear his good name, back in the Arctic a vicious bottled-water company has moved in and is starting to steal the ice. Norm must rely on his friends, both old and new, to clear his good name and help save his kingdom in a winner take all hockey match in this Dove Family-Approved for all ages film.

I was given an awesome set of goodies to go along with the movie. Everything was perfect because they all represent certain pieces of the movie. My daughters were thrilled with all of the goodies that we were given.

My daughters had a lot of fun with the polar bear snow blanket. It went right over their heads and you could put your hands in for the paws. It was a perfect item for the movie since it’s mainly about polar bears. Even the fake snowballs and the crown all fit the movie well. If you watch the movie, you’ll know more about the crown, but the fake snowballs are more since it’s winter time and there is a lot of snow for the movie. We don’t have a whole lot of snow here in Wisconsin sadly, but these fake snowballs work great for having snowball fights indoors. A perfect fun activity for the kids when they need something to do. They’re soft too, so they don’t hurt when being thrown. There are many games you can play with them too. It came with a list of some fun ways to use them.

The snow cone maker was definitely one of my daughters favorites. They both love snow cones, and they’re very excited that we can finally make them ourselves at home. This snow cone maker was so easy to use too! You just put the ice in where it goes, plug it in, twist the cover, and there it goes! It starts making the shaved ice for the snow cones. Very easy to do, and delicious too! My kids ask for them all the time now. It was such a great hit, and will be used for many sleepovers too! This was a great treat to have while watching the movie. It makes for a wonderful movie night!

Don’t forget that Norm of the North: Keys to the Kingdom is now out on Demand and it’s in select theaters as well. This is a great family movie if you’re looking to enjoy one together!

Hadn’t heard of this movie but a great winter movie with snow cones or ice cream sounds like fun. Sidebar – I have that Kikoman t-shirt. It’s super comfy.
