Old Country Buffet Review

Have you ever been to a buffet before? Buffets are my favorite because you pay a certain price and you get to pick from a lot of different foods and you can eat as much as you want. It’s the perfect restaurant for those that want a lot to choose from.

Recently I was sent four passes to Old Country Buffet. It’s been over five years since I’ve been to this restaurant, so I was very excited to go. My kids have never been there before so this was a new experience for them. I knew they’d love it as much as I do because they can choose their own food.

Once we arrived we walked inside and were greeted nicely. When you order from the buffet you do have to separately pay for drinks, but it’s a very good price and of course you can have all the drinks you want as well. My daughters were very excited that they had Icee’s there.

All of the food was absolutely delicious! The fried chicken was the best I’ve had. That was probably my favorite out of everything I ate. As some of you know, my youngest daughter has dairy allergies. She was able to eat some of the items as well. All I had to do was ask some of the workers about what she could have and they let me know. They’re all very kind and friendly. It’s always nice to have workers that are friendly. You always want to be able to experience great service, and we did.

My daughters really enjoyed the sorbet. This was dairy free so my youngest was actually able to have some. It was the only dessert that she could have and she loved it. I’m happy they had something she was able to enjoy for dessert. She got so excited when I told her she was able to have some. That put a huge smile on my face. I was so happy to see how excited she was.

There were so many desserts to choose from, it was hard to just have a few. If only I could have tried them all it would have been amazing. I can’t wait to go back again to try what I missed out on. The strawberry shortcake was one of my favorites. It was so delicious and it was the best I’ve had. Their soft serve ice cream comes in vanilla or chocolate. They have a lot of different toppings so you can add those to your ice cream if you’d like. It’s always nice to have the option of topping off your ice cream with a great selection of items.

Everything was so delicious and all off the workers were very helpful, especially when we asked a lot about what has dairy and what doesn’t. I would recommend anyone to go to Old Country Buffet. It’s one of my favorite restaurants and even my children love it. It was an overall great experience and we all loved it. I will definitely be going again.
