I had heard so many wonderful things about the movie Poor Things, and all I have to say, is wow! When I heard how amazing this movie was, I knew it was one I’d have to see, and I’m so glad I did. Emma Stone did such an amazing job in this movie. She is extremely talented. She plays as a young girl who is brought back to life, so although she looks like an adult, she still seems more like a child because she has to learn all over again. I do have to warn you though, it does get a bit graphic and there may be some parts that seem more disturbing as well, so just keep that in mind. Even with all that, it was such a wonderful movie.

Film Synopsis
From filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos and producer Emma Stone comes this incredible tale and fantastical evolution of Bella Baxter (Emma Stone), a young woman brought back to life by the brilliant and unorthodox scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter (Willem Dafoe). Under Baxter’s protection, Bella is eager to learn. Hungry for the worldliness she is lacking, Bella runs off with Duncan Wedderburn (Mark Ruffalo), a slick and debauched lawyer, on a whirlwind adventure across the continents. Free from the prejudices of her times, Bella grows steadfast in her purpose to stand for equality and liberation.
