My family goes through countless numbers of plastic sandwich and snack bags. My husband uses them when taking his lunch to work, we use them to store leftovers, we also use them to take snack along when we leave the house, and they are also used for odds and ends around the house. As I am sure you know using so many plastic bags get expensive. Not to mention it is not the best for the environment. But…yes there is a but……I found a solution.
I have found the cutest little snack and sandwich bags! ReUsies! The are made from 100% cotton and the liner is nylon. Sounds like it might leak right? Well it doesn’t! They are completely leak resistant. These have been perfect for my husband to take sandwiches to work and Munchkin 2 loves to use them for her snacks….even if we are at home.
They are super easy to clean too! You can wash them by hand, stick them in the dishwasher or just toss them in with your wash in the washer and dryer! As a busy mom that is a dream come true! I love that I do not have to wash them by hand but if my dishwasher is not full yet then I can toss them in with a load of clothes.
The ReUsies sandwich and snack size set is super great because you can even fit a sandwich in the snack size as well. The bags have a velcro closure that is adujstable! I find that fantastic!
