In inspiration of all three of these movies coming out, I thought it would be fun to be able to make something that could go along with all of these. Since Spongebob and Patrick are a big part of all three of these, I knew I had to make something to go along with those two characters. I absolutely love making any kind of bark recipe, and I thought for this, yogurt bark would be amazing. I could make the colors pink and yellow to represent Spongebob and Patrick.
Pineapple Yogurt Bark
Equipment
- Parchment Paper
- Sheet Pan
Ingredients
- Crushed Pineapple
- 2 Cups Plain Yogurt
- Yellow Gel or Food Coloring
Instructions
- This recipe is very simple. You first want to take the 2 cups of yogurt and mix a bit of the yellow coloring in there to get to the color you'd like.
- Now you want to put parchment paper on a sheet pan and spread the yogurt evenly on the paper.
- Next you can take the crushed pineapple and sprinkle it on top. You can add as much or as little as you'd like.
- Now you can freeze it for a few hours, or overnight. I usually do this overnight to make sure it's frozen really well.
- Take it out of the freezer and start breaking the pieces apart. That is all there is to this. A very simple and delicious recipe!
Strawberry Yogurt Bark
Equipment
- Parchment Paper
- Sheet Pan
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Yogurt
- 1/3 Cup Honey
- 1 16 oz. Container of Strawberries
Instructions
- First you'll want to cut up half of the strawberries in to small pieces. These are going to be used for the topping.
- Now you can use the other half of the strawberries and put them in a blender with the 2 cups of yogurt. The half of the strawberries that go in the blender won't need to be cut up. You can just toss them in the blender. Also add the honey to the blender as well. Mix that all up good until it is blended well.
- Once that is all blended, you can pour that on to a baking sheet that is lined with the parchment paper. Spread it evenly.
- Now you can top it with the cut up strawberries.
- Next you want to put this in the freezer for a few hours or overnight. I prefer doing this overnight so that it freezes well.
- Once it is done freezing, you can take it out and start breaking the pieces apart. That is it! Now you have some delicious strawberry yogurt bark.
