This past week has been a very busy week for us. We have been doing a lot of cleaning and organizing. With spring right around the corner, it’s the perfect time to get things cleaned up. We also tried out many new foods as well. That is something my family enjoys doing together. It’s always a lot of fun.

Sprinkle Cookie Birthday Cake

Mercades (my oldest daughter) has a birthday coming up in a week. I had done a post about Entenmann’s Little Bites Soft Baked Cookies, and we used those to make a birthday cake for her. My daughters had a lot of fun helping decorate it. We thought it turned out amazing too. It was very delicious! Strawberry Frosted Donut Oreo

These Oreos are a limited edition, and we thought they were pretty good. It was nice to see two different layers inside. They were pink colored creme with glitter. They even look amazing! I don’t know if I’d buy them again, but they were not bad either. 

Club Crisps 

These were so good. I loved them! They were just the right amount of crispy and delicious. I will definitely be buying more of these again. These have become one of my favorite things to snack on now. I really enjoyed them a lot. I love how thin and crispy they are. If you love the Club crackers, I highly suggest giving these a try as well. 

Jolly Rancher Gummies Sours

If you love Jolly Ranchers, I’m sure you’ll enjoy these. I liked them a lot. I thought they tasted very much like the hard Jolly Rancher candy too. They were not really sour to me though, which is still fine. I do love sour candy, but these were still really good. They yellow was probably the only one that was a little bit sour. They’re really yummy though!

Goldfish Flavor Blasted Cheddar & Sour Cream

I was really hoping for these to be good, but I honestly didn’t like them that much. I love the cheddar and sour cream flavor, so I thought these were going to be good, but it was a no for me. I have always loved this flavor for chips, but I guess not for the Goldfish. I’ll stick to the regular cheddar for these. 

Trolli Sour Gummi Creations Martian Mix 

I thought these were really good. I love sour candy, and these were great. They came in so many different shapes, sizes and colors too. They’re a lot of fun because you can create something fun with them too. This was great for my kids because they love creating stuff out of food.

 

Lays Crispy Taco Flavored Chips

These chips were actually amazing. They taste just like tacos. I was really surprised at the taste and how accurate it is to tacos. If you love tacos, you have to try these out. I will most likely be buying more of these, especially when I’m craving tacos. Now I can just grab these for a snack when I’m craving tacos. They’re amazing!

New Shelves For Our Basement 

My husband and I have been wanting to put up shelves in our basement for some time now. We finally got around to getting started on it. We have a lot more to put up too. We did a couple of walls so far. They turned out really nice. We actually fixed up the walls as well. We hung up sheet rock and painted the walls white. Our house is an older style home, so we have a lot to work on still, but we’re happy with the way these turned out. We can’t wait to get the rest of them up. They have already been nice for storing things on the shelves.

Decorating Cookies and Cupcakes

I got this fun kit from Sweetology and my daughters wanted to dig in right away and make some cupcakes and cakes. They always have so much fun when it comes to decorating goodies. They did such an amazing job too. They came with such bright colored frosting. We loved it. They came with some edible pieces as well. I thought my daughters did a wonderful job decorating, and they have fun with it. I always enjoy watching them come up with fun creations when it comes to baking and goodies.

Cleaning Our Kitchen Cabinet Handles

My husband and I have an older style home, and we are currently updating as much as we can. We’re doing everything little by little, but eventually we are going to be updating every room in our house. Our daughters rooms have already been completely done. I know that the kitchen will be a while before we get that done, but I figured I could do some nice cleaning at least. I recently decided to take all the handles off the kitchen cabinets and give them a good wash. I am so glad I did. There was a huge difference before and after! I couldn’t believe how dirty they actually were. I feel like the owners before us may have never washed them at all. They were pretty dark and dirty. I highly suggest doing this if you haven’t done it before. It really makes a huge difference! They’re not exactly what I want, but we plan to completely do our kitchen at some time, so for now, this is great.

I Won A Package From A Reading Program For My Local Library!

My local library does a lot of reading programs for both kids and adults. I love to read, so I always enter in these reading programs. They’re a lot of fun! Sometimes you can win some fun prizes too. For everyone who joined this, they were able to choose a book or movie as well. There was also a grand drawing, which I had won! It was a nice package to use to sit down and read with a great book. Some great drinks and snacks!
