Yummes Review

Do you love sweet treats? I have always had a weakness for all kinds of sweets. Even if you’re trying to eat healthier it’s always nice to sneak in a treat once in a while. Even if I tried to eat healthier I know I’d still want some sweets once in a while. I think it’s fine for everyone to be able to enjoy one sometimes. Even if you were to have one once a month or a few times a month I think you’d still be fine. At least you’re helping your cravings by having a little and not a lot.

Luckily I was sent some great treats from Yummes. Everything was packaged very well. They had everything in a box with some cushioning to help prevent everything from falling all over and they even had ice packs. The treats are items that need to be frozen so I’m glad they had everything set with ice packs. The shipping was extremely fast as well. It was shipped in one day. I’m so glad it was shipped fast since everything had to be frozen. That way nothing should melt.

I received a Christmas Santa peanut butter cup cake, some cake push ups, cake pops, and cookie & brownie sandwiches. Everything was very delicious too.

Normally I don’t like cake pops but I really wanted to try these out. I wanted to see if anyone could change my opinion on how I feel about cake pops. I couldn’t believe it once I tried these. They were amazing! This is coming from someone who absolutely hates cake pops. Well, I definitely love these cake pops! This is the first time I’ve tried a cake pop that I actually enjoyed. For me they tasted more like cookie dough, which is one of my favorites so I was very happy about that. I have never had a cake pop like this before. They were so very delicious! Of course my oldest daughter (Mercades) loved all the sprinkles on the cake pops the most.

I was also sent some specially made cake push ups for my daughter. She has dairy allergies so they made these without any dairy. I thought that was very thoughtful of them. I love that they were thinking of my daughter too.  That way she could enjoy a treat as well. She really loved these treats. She probably would have eaten them all in one day if I would have let her. These were made with chocolate cake and a very basic white icing. (with shortening) The white icing is different from the buttercream they normally use. It’s white and not a yellowish color like the buttercream.

The Santa cake was very good. I usually don’t like  fondant but it was surprisingly good. I thought it was going to be a normal white cake but it turned out to be chocolate with peanut butter cups inside. That made it even more tasty. I’ve never had a chocolate cake with peanut butter cups inside before so this was a great surprise. I love anything with peanut butter cups. My oldest daughter (Mercades) also really enjoyed this cake. The Santa design was amazing. I thought they did a wonderful job with that as well.

Pictured above is the complete peanutbutterness cookie sandwich. If you love peanut butter cookies or just plain peanut butter, then you’re going to love this one. This cookie sandwich has two soft peanut butter cookies with buttercream in between. It’s also got chocolate ganache on top as well. This was definitely one of my favorites. Normally I don’t care much for peanut butter cookies but this was very good.

Pictured above is the chocolate chip champ cookie sandwich. If you love chocolate chip cookies then I bet you’re really going to love this cookie sandwich. This is better than any chocolate chip cookie I have had. This cookie sandwich has two chocolate chip cookies with buttercream in the middle. The top is also coated with chocolate ganache.

Pictured above is the mmmm & mmmm cookie sandwich. If you have ever had m&m cookies or those m&m ice cream cookie sandwiches then I’m sure you’re going to love this. This was way better than any m&m cookie I’ve had and even better than those ice cream m&m sandwiches. It’s got two chocolate chip cookies that have buttercream in the middle. They’re then carefully rolled in mini m&m’s and then topped with chocolate ganache.

Pictured above is the turtle fudge frenzy brownie. This was one of my favorite treats that I received. This brownie was very soft and delicious. It’s covered in chocolate, so if you love chocolate you might love this brownie. It’s encased with caramel buttercream frosting and topped with toasted pecans. It’s then draped in chocolate ganache. If you love pecan pies or really anything with pecan I think you will enjoy this delicious treat.

Pictured above is the signature buttercream supreme brownie. This brownie is draped with the signature buttergream and also has chocolate ganche on top. It’s just like a brownie with buttercream and some chocolate. Simple yet delicious.

Pictured above is the chocolate chip on my shoulder brownie. This treat is topped with mini chocolate chips, filled with buttercream on the inside and topped with chocolate ganche. I thought this one was very chocolaty, so if you love chocolate you’ll probably want to try this one out.

Everything I received was very good. I would definitely make an order with them again. At the moment they don’t care any dairy free items but I really hope in the future that it’s something they come out with. I would definitely love to get more cake push ups for my daughter with dairy allergies. She really enjoyed those a lot.
